Easy to fit, provides protection to motor's and serves as a great place to secure chain to lock your board up.

Feels solid. Good protection. Nb. Installation will not require you to remove existing plates if your deck is relatively new or has existing thread in the holes where the screw goes.

The bash guard provides good additional protection for the motors and an easy grab point for manually moving the board. I got an extra one for my brother to put on his board.

My bash guard all ready has some scratches on it, so its doing at great job of protecting my motors. And it also makes a awesome hand hold for when you need to walk with your board.
