“After my original controller decided to pop a spring on the brake button, I decided to get a replacement. I also sent my original controller back to be repaired.
The UK Evolve team was excellent and ‘Billy’ played an absolute blinding game to get it sorted/modified, so it won’t happen again.. really great service! Thanks Billy!
The new controller came and feels slightly more robust, or it could just be a ‘getting used to it’ phase?
Anyway, got 2x remotes now, so shouldn’t get stranded again if anything goes pop again.
Always love riding my BGTR, and Evolve is the only company that feels ‘right’ and love the Evolution of company and boards etc…

“I love how this controller works, just wish it was a bit hardier, dropped it once and managed to put it back together, second time not so lucky.
Hopefully the Hadean controller will be adapted to work with the Stoke, then dropping it will no longer be a problem.

The R2 - I find the trigger reset, firmware
Updater and board data extraction via remote really clunky. To date not successfully tapped into firmware or board data. 1/20 attempts to access trigger reset have been successful. I’m pretty good with this stuff but best accessed via normal option menu. Double tap, hop on right foot and face in NE direction, all too much for info check.
Jake advised the GTR CARBON boards do have some remote sourced diagnostic data issues and a firmware update is processing. I’m being honest. In short frustrating. The app sits in the frustrated file too.
Other than that I absolutely love my board and the evolve story. Always a promoter of the brand. Thanks to Dan and Jake for speedy service and phone training on remotes other items.
Looking forward to R3 being super durable even bounce-able. Ha!!!
Happy to be an evolve new remote tester if needed. The current R2 provides plenty of rider confidence so please keep that up for the R3. This being more important than data and apps

“It feels like a good quality remote in your hand, nice and responsive but whatever you do, don't drop it. I've broken one from stacking which was annoying but I've also broken one from a drop of half a metre, screen smashed and split down the middle.”
