“I've owned the Bamboo GTX for a bit over a year, I dropped my R2 remote (breaking it) i waited for winter to pass now weather is getting better I had to purchase a new remote!!
The build quality is outstanding, both the board and remote. Carving with the 7" AT wheels is the most fun, breaking is really responsive and makes the ride a lot more safer

“So, I've just recently bought my 3rd R2 remote. I'll start by saying I've had my bamboo GT for just over a year now and absolutely love it, and use it to commute the 14km round trip to work every single day. Living in Queensland where there isn't really a winter you can do that! Anyway, in the year I've had it, I've come off my board, only 3 times. BUT, every one of those 3 times, when i come off, i land on the remote because its in my hand, and every time it has completely shattered. The remotes are pretty flimsy. I would happily pay double the price for something that feels robust when you hold it. Even without the falling onto it, it has a plastic "made in china" feel to it. I realise that the remotes are designed to be landed on, but thats my thoughts anyway :) Finish off by saying i love the boards and I'll be upgrading in another year or so :)”
“Compared to the flaky, not fit for purpose, beta model and arguably dangerous R1 I originally got with my board this is a whole new ball game. Im back carving with a level of confidence!
Takes a little to get used to and make sure the triggers are adjusted properly (see the yt clip) and you are good to go!”
