“Sorry for the 2 stars - Only doing so to get you folks to focus on product improvement on what is my pride and joy :)
The Remote is fantastic but far too fragile. The first fix was because I put it in my pocket to go into a shop, when I came out it wouldn't pair.
Not self repairable - The screen is too delicate to inspect yourself, so I broke that when I opened the remote and had to pay for a fix - well priced at least, and my fault - just pointing out it's fragility.
On return, I noticed the battery wasn't holding a charge for long after a full charge (less than 48 hours). After a while, it wouldn't charge at all - now on its way back to the service dept.
It's a great product that needs some R&D into being far more robust.”
Hi Adam,
We do not recommend performing work on the remote yourself as improper assembly may cause safety risks. We want to keep our riders safe which is why it is important to be seen by our technicians.
The battery seems very bizarre so we're glad you're coming to see the team. We'll get you sorted in no time!

Hey Walt,Thanks for taking the time to review the product.I can't seem to see any history so perhaps there was an error while posting, we do apologise. As for the remote, please don't hesitate to contact your local tech support team for assistance with repair! We also recommend grabbing yourself a remote cover for extra protection!RegardsEvolve HQ
“I have to hit it every so often in order to make the board stop stuttering. I think I have received a faulty remote. Did not want to be without remote again so I keep hitting it but I should probably send it back?
Had to get a new remote since the old one got stolen when someone broke into our house.”
Hi Daniel,Please contact our tech team as soon as possible so we can work with you to resolve this!support@evolveskateboards.com.auorLine 2 - (07) 5593 4999ThanksEvolve HQ
Hey Eniko, thanks for the feedback. We are always trying to improve our products so they are the best out there. If you need any remotes repaired feel free to send them in so we can get them fixed up for you. It is usually always much cheaper to have them repaired than to buy a new one.
