“Lights are fine and great quality, but if you're installing on the top of your evolve (rather than the underside to avoid the wheels hitting), the mounts are a bit too low profile where the lights can't slide all the way in and "click" in securely. The lights are already quite secure without clicking in, so probably won't be an issue, but the design can still be improved.”
Hey Daniel,
Thanks for the review.
We seem to have no problems with what you are describing. If you like, you can send a picture through to us and we can have a look into how you've got it setup.

“I tried an on-axle type of light for a couple of months on an AT board. It worked well until I smashed it off going over a little rock I didn't see. Repaired it with Araldite but it kept breaking. Incidentally, when you get the bash guard kit it makes it worse for these style of lights.
Next step was getting these top mounted Shred lights. Easy to access, clearly visible and protected. Strong easy to install mount. I couldn't be happier with them.”
“Gizmo wouldn't have liked these guys
Very bright, super easy and fast USB charging, multiple light function modes and very easy to install.
Lights the ground ahead of you to avoid obstacles and make you more visible.
If you ever ride at night, utterly essential mod.”
“This Product is excellent and deserving of 5 stars. Sometimes things just work!
Please note that the following is for the front light only I have not purchased the rear lights.
Neat and compact, top built quality, very easy to mount, when mounted the lights are out of the way so less likely to be damaged. Easy to remove for charging. A nice touch is that the USB charger splits in two so you can charge both lights at once (it's the little touches that make a difference).
These lights are SO bright when on full beam that you don't really need to mount both on the board, however you could have one flashing and one on solid beam. I am considering mounting one on my helmet.
There are a lot of option on the market and my advise is that you get what you pay for, so pay that little bit extra and by this no nonsense solution.”
