Honestly the best thing I have ever bought for myself. I love everything about it. From they cool style to the performance. Good value for money ( I did a lot of research before buying and considered building a custom board, Glad I went with Evolve as the finished product is so much more refined) I'm 95kgs and the board has a lot of torque. Pulls my up steep hills in AT at 29 kms/hr. Street wheels are also great! I think i'm addicted.....already considering getting a Stoke also....

Went for the Stoke but while awaiting delivery changed my mind to a GTR 2-in-1, contacted Evolve, no issues at all. Ordered on a Friday, delivered Tuesday arvo. Only initial impressions so far, but solid board and easy to use. Instructions (supplied with the board and online) are top notch. Well done Evolve and thanks!

I’ve had my Evolve bamboo GTR 2 in 1 for about 4 weeks and have been having an absolute blast on this thing! Super versatile with the all terrain wheels and a lot of fun. The brakes are designed very well and easy to use without compromising your stability whilst riding around busy urban areas.

Battery range 50% after just 3 months of use. Very disappointing.

Hey Don,Thanks for the review! If using AT Tyres, be sure you have pumped them up to a 40-45 PSI. This is generally the cause for decreased range. If you're ever unsure, please don't hesitate to reach out to our technicians for advice.RegardsEvolve HQ

I very much enjoy the now defunct boosted stealth when my gtr is charging, but when I feel like I need to be able to tackle tarmac, filth, dirt, berms, curbs, and even my local beach at low tide, the GTR is THE WEAPON to have in your quiver. It's fast, responsive, the turn-in on evolves double kingpin geometry is absolutely on a dime turn precise. It looks rad, the remote is sensitive in a precise manner. The overall EVOLVE experience screams fun, control, style and it just gives electric skateboarding a good name. Get it if you can, but don't give in to the "other" look likes. GET THE GTR

I received my board about 6 weeks ago and like most things you need to get use to the power and brakes on this , once you understand this, there is no stopping you. The board is extremely well made, everything is quality and built for some serious off road trailing, the board is very capable and the possibility’s are endless only to be stop by the user. Great fun

I was on Evolve webpage about a month ago, and was not sure whether I should buy the GTR Bamboo board or not. But eventually, I decided to get it for college, and have been riding around and practicing moves. If you are still debating whether to buy or not, read this review—hopefully, this could be helpful. Throughout the past three weeks of owning this board, I can say that overall the board and the customer service are pretty good! Several problems that I encountered just in the past month and resolutions: 1. I noticed that the remote is very fragile, and mine broke (one of the screw holders broke loose, and jiggled around with annoying sound) in the first week. I tried to open the remote to look at what happened, the screen cracked. After talking to the customer service, I decided to buy a new remote—I really couldn’t afford the wait time to ship the remote back and forth, plus the repair time; on top of that, I may have to pay for both-way shipping and repair fee if the repair team decided that the damage was not covered by the warranty. Forgot to mention: I live in Pennsylvania currently, and the shipping time is about 4-5 days one way; hopefully, when I get to San Francisco for school, I won’t have to suffer the wait time anymore. 2. Other small things that broke include one of the street wheels (on the first day of riding, the wheel torn a bit), and the rear truck/axle. The customer service was very considerate, and they gave me a discount on a new set of wheels and a brand-new rear truck as a courtesy. Really appreciate that! 3. Two of my ceramic bearings from the AT kit are not spinning properly after 2 weeks of riding; I just noticed today as I converted from AT back to Street. It seems that Evolve only sells bearings in the sets of 8, but I don’t need that many. Overall, I love the board, but would definitely appreciate more purchase options. Some essential spare parts like wheels, bearings in a set are quite costly, and sometimes I may only need one or two, and don’t feel like buying a whole set. The customer service, although has been pretty awesome, can really be a little bit faster on responding—I usually get one email follow-up a day, and it usually only comes around 12-1 pm EST. Sometimes it could get frustrating as I want to figure out solutions to my board problems. Aside from these problems, I was definitely the coolest guy riding this board (very fast) on the road—even the motorcycle riders would lose their coolness, and they would have to really rev their engines while passing me, in an attempt to preserve their non-existence pride. LOL! The range and top speed are also pretty similar to what the website shows. In conclusion, I would say that owning this board does come with responsibilities and frustration, just like anything in life. You will need to learn to ride it, take care of it, and buy new parts when necessary—and they could be a bit expensive. However, the joy of taking care of something great is incredible. Definitely go for it if you are ready to take on all of those responsibilities!
