“Riding is freedom and a smile!
I bought the Bamboo GTR and have experienced a sense of freedom. Riding in my neighborhood has put a smile on my face and the face of others. So many ppl are shocked at the speed of the board and how I can achieve deep carves. I recently had a truck driver pace next to me and yell at me in shock at how fast the board was moving and it’s maneuverability. It truly is like surfing/snowboarding in the street. Finally, the board looks sharp. I added the plug in lights and they add a “pop” to my board and more visibility when I ride. Great board, components, speed, and distance equals a smile every time I ride!”
“The product is fantastic. Honestly superb. Easy to use and very much looks the part.
Was very disappointed however to find the baseplate broke after only 6 days which included only 3 charges worth of very beginner riding. The company are sending a new one, but frustrating I have to, as a beginner, fix for myself a product I’ve owned less than a week.
However all said the product is super fun and I’m sure when it’s fixed I’ll get hours and hours of fun from it.”

“The board is all you want it to be, it is fun, it is fast, it carves, it feels the Bamboo carves even more than the Carbon. The remote is responsive, connectivity remote to board is flawless, battery lasts for hours. The only thing Evolve could improve is the charger, it is a awkward to plug it in the board, you have to force it in and the little rubber flap that serves as a dust protector never stays in place. Apart from that, two thumbs up.”
“Researched for a while to find an e-skate similar to snowboarding for something to do in the off season, before pulling the trigger on the bamboo gtr. I feel i made the right choice! Toned the trucks and I get an almost identical snow carving sensation while riding. Had an issue at with the remote, but it was all user error( dropped it )and was fixed quickly with a remote reset..Support for evolve has been super helpful and incredibly kind. I would highly recommended this board to anyone looking to fill that summer snowboard itch! Or to just cruise around and get out of the house from this stupid covid isolation ...thank you all at evolve for everything you guys do true professionals.”

I have bought new 4 evolve skateboards
Over 3 years
Replacing the remote is a constant problem and an expensive problem
At $149 a time
The remote is extremely fragile
One small knock and its broken
10 times 149 is $1490
That's getting close to the price of a new board
It's also a real problem for me
Today my remote fell out of my pocket
A long way from home
I'm really thinking do I need to carry a spare remote every ride
It is little wonder remotes are often sold out

10 times!! I don't think I've ever heard of this before!! What seems to be going on to break a remote 10 times?
Did you purchase all 10 from us? I can see here that there has been two R2 GT Remotes and one for the GTR.
Have you ever thought about repairing the remotes rather than replacing? Feel free to send me through some pictures of the damage and we can discuss repair on your current ones.
