“Like many, locked away in isolation for what felt like eternity. I was feeling like I wanted to do something different and spontaneous by purchasing an electric rideable That both me and my 5 year old could have a bit of fun on when restrictions lifted.
Initially I had a Segway electric scooter in my cart at JB HI FI but after seeing the reviews I decided to reconsider.
On the website I also seen the Evolve skateboard and though it looked great albeit a bit pricier than the Segway. Reading the stats I could see why it had the price tag of nearly $2,000.

Unboxing - everything looks and feels like it was well thought out. The contents of the box down to the carry case feel premium in quality. You get the feeling you’ve made an investment rather than purchase.
Initially the board was a bit tricky but for anyone who has rode a board you should pick it up quickly. Heck.. my 50kg wife is confident on it now.
A month and a half in to owning the board and I can’t explain in words how much I appreciate this board, the kilometres we’ve racked up (so far) have been filled with soo much excitement and freedom.
My little dude sits on the deck whilst gripping my leg probably not the safest idea to be riding this thing with a kid at your feet but we make it work and haven’t died yet...
Moving up to the GC in a couple of months so can’t wait to take my board out and explore.
