“Received my new Evolve GTR Electric skateboard and are so happy with its performance smooth over all sorts of terrane its great to take the dog for a walk across the park.
The remote is easy to use and gives a well controlled application of the power as well as the break unfortunately the remote came with a fault half the display was blank and lines across the rest it still works but just not right. But one email to Evolve and a replacement is on its way.

“Absolutely love this board! Already have a carbon which I’m more than happy with. The Bamboo gives you much more versatility especially when carving turns and is lighter than the carbon. I had to tighten the forks slightly to prevent speed wobble but apart from that the ride is immense. Happy days boarding with my son to look forward to!”
“I absolutely am addicted to riding this thing. So much fun and even though I've just got it, I look forward to buying the new model when released. If you were like me and in between contemplating a cheaper board or an Evolve board if you can fork out the extra coin, do it for sure! You will not be disappointed! The build quality is next to none, with everything flawless down to the very last detail. Having said that perfection is non-existent and this is certainly the case for this board too. I've had a few minor issues with it. 1) the cover for the charging port doesn't stay securely in the port and I'm worried this might cause an issue when going off-road with dirt and grime getting stuck in there. 2) Being on the heavier end of the bodyweight (93kgs) and live in a fairly hilly area my motors tend to overheat a bit and I hope to see in the future model a possible upgrade to cooling the motors or similar. 3) The remotes quality compared to the board itself is two different worlds! Out of the box, I had issues with the remote casing coming apart and it has continued to get worse. Having said this I've arranged to send it back the remote and so far their customer service has been exceptional. So in the next model, I hope to see an improvement in the quality of the remote make.
Although I've had these minor issues, I still think Evolve has hit the nail on the head in terms or the ride feel and the specs compared to other companies and I'd strongly recommend choosing an Evolve board.”

As for the charge port cover, please ensure the cover and port are free of dust and when closing it, hold it down for 3 seconds to release the air from inside. If you’re still having issues, please reach out to your local tech department for advice.
