“Bought this board to upgrade my Bamboo GTX (which my 30 year old son inherited). Really love the board and the range (especially with the AT Wheels) as I use it to commute to work on when it is fine. no issues of sag which I experienced on the GTX. Only two small issues I have is, the cover for the Charge port cover doesn't stay in place and I bought the Board too early so missed on the Merc deal going on at the moment, maybe evolve could apply it retrospectively (Here's hoping)”
“Although the GTX is a decent board, The GTR seems to have resolved the things that were a niggle with previous models - particularly "battery sag" and range. Even with full knobbly off-road tyres I'm still getting up to 30km real-world range (or 50-60km using street wheels) and 100% of battery charge being available (have ridden it at 0% for about 2km before it ran out of juice). Mind you, it prob helps a little that I'm light as f**k. Constant battery monitoring no longer needed and I can easily get two decent rides from the board before needing to recharge. Being able to easily swap out the battery is a great addition too.
Might just be the best xmas gift I've ever bought myself ... well, until I can afford a Tesla Model 3!”
