“I've been kite landboarding and snowboarding for over a decade but you need wind and you need snow! This board is a game changer - all the thrills of board sports but without the hassles and you can shred almost anywhere! The board is very high quality construction, no squeaks or rattles, solid as a rock. Easier to master than most board sports, took me about half a hour to feel comfortable cruising at 10mph. It carves so nice. braking can be a bit sketchy and not sure how it will handle a narrow downhill path where you can't carve but we'll see. Will likely use it almost everyday for fun!”
“I had pretty damn high expectations and needless to say my evolve bamboo GTR all terrain has exceeded those expectations. I haven't had a dull moment during the whole process of browsing, ordering and riding. If you don't own one of these boards you're doing yourself an injustice.”
“I came into some unexpected cash and one of the items I wanted to pick up was originally a GTX to add to my Bamboo GT and another manufacturers board. It's too bad that the GTX still comes with the crap R2 Remote. The remote might as well be made out of glass, it becomes useless if it's dropped. I'm on my 3rd remote, and the only suggestion from Evolve is to buy a rubber skin for it (which I did). The remote for the Hadean should have been backward compatible for the GTX boards. I haven't ridden since I dumped into the grass and that remote became useless.
I'll consider the Hadean with the more robust remote. It's just too bad that I don't feel confident enough with the GTX to buy one. Even on sale, Evolve will make their money back on selling replacement remotes at $100 a pop.”
