If you want to eat shit, go ahead and get this board today. It will give you smiles and road rash. When my remote was about 60% it disconnected and halted the board just long enough send me flying. I’m 51 and in good shape but I felt that mofo quick and hard. Left some skin on the ground. Pro /GTR mode only. Eco is for girls”
“This is my 2nd esk8 purchase and ive owned for over a month now. Absolutely amazing ride. Duel kingpin system makes riding virtually any surface feel like powder run snowboarding or surfing with very floaty secure carvability. I live on a boat and this has been a game changer for traversing rough gravelly and muddy towpaths woth effortless transition to grassland with uneven cambers etc. Ive ridden over 15miles in a single trip with no issues or battery depletion. Ive suffered no disconnection to remote at all and I ride almost every day.
Weather sealing means the odd splash from hitting the edge of standing puddles are no problem and the Atx wheels are large enough to stop water ingress or submersion to the bearings.
My only criticism is that the power button can be quite easily jammed by dirt or small rock particles - ive had to several times times use a tool to remove debris trapped in between the button and it's housing before i could turn it on or off. This is the only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars and should be re-evaluated on the next model imo.
Id love to see a 4 wheel drive version one day. Fantastic esk8 leagues better than anything else ive ridden thus far.”
