And the craftsmanship of the board is not what you would expect from a board of this price and from a company that you think highly of.. So don't get me wrong.. Cool bit of kit.. “Hi, Board delivery and communication was great.
Packaging was great and Quality of board seems excellent.
*However.., within 35 minutes of use i had an extremely minor stack whereby the remote knocked the ground (still in hand and with strap on), and it hasn't worked since. Upon inspection the remote case construction is very flimsy in comparison to the quality of the board. The technology within the remote and functionality seem excellent and I accept with this comes fragile componentry, however from a design perspective its seems that no consideration has been given to protecting such a fragile device, which is difficult to understand. It was a very minor knock so I am obviously quite disappointed that the board was so quickly out of action, particularly after the anticipation of receiving it.
I have dissembled the remote and tried to repair however to no avail. Please let me know options from here. Thanks John
My recommendation of yes below is only subject to the remote having a protective cover or thick rubber case.”
“I would place this as a 4.5 if it was an option. It’s an incredible board. Spread, the way it handles, power is great.
I expected the better to be a touch better for the money and the feed back I’ve got from a friend with the Evoke long board.
All of that aside, I’m very happy with the purchase and love it. Currently in the process of getting mates of mine to buy it. I’ve made 2 sales already from friends looking at it.”
