“Really powerful, lots of fun.! All the reviews about power and reliability seem to be spot on. I would have given it a five star review but out of the box some of the bolts were quite loose and needed tightening one of the truck bolts was spinning freely. I did pick it up from the warehouse in Varsity and the box tab was ripped. also when I asked to change the colour of my remote I was told it would be a extra charge, which I think is a little cheap of a brand when you’re spending this much money on a board (No extra cost if you’re picking one of their other boards). Battery Life seems lower from the percentages and the website, but I think a couple of power cycle should help fix that up. I would recommend it, but definitely give the board a good once over before you take it out at Highspeeds.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review.
This is extremely rare for a board to have made it past our Quality Control procedure with loose screws. Nevertheless, I will inform our team to reassess the procedure so it does not happen again. I sincerely apologise about this mistake. We do recommend checking the tightness on your screws regularly, especially when travelling at higher speeds.
All of our boards will come standard with the black remote and if you would like to change colours, it does require a $30 admin fee. This fee is applied to any GTR purchase through the Board Builder or if you would manually like to change it with the Stoke.
If you have any battery concerns, please feel free to get in touch with our tech crew but for now, I recommend running the board completely flat, recharging to full on a single charge, then doing a range test until it turns off. Let me know how you go.

“Literally the best decision of my life at 35 years old. I feel like I am endlessly snowboarding or surfing the streets of my neighborhood- and constantly asking my wife if she needs me to get something from the shops so I can zoom up there on my electric Skateboard.
The Stoke for me is the perfect size. It still rides like a cruiser but smaller and lighter than the GTR.
For commuting the range could be better and I would consider the GTR - but the stoke is good enough to get to the station and back and more.
Also the power and acceleration are awesome on the stoke - more than enough.

I chose the Stoke because of the air travel possibilities, [I get sick of taking Ubers in peak hour interstate]. Right out of the box [after first charge] - this board pack a whallop! I have finally purchased something to make my 18 year old son insanely jealous of me. At 90KG, ECO mode still rips along at 20KM/H [plenty fast enough for this 47 year old] and hills are not even close to being a problem. It will take me a while to feel the need to pull out PRO or GTR modes, so there will be a whole new ride discipline to learn.
