Firstly, I have an issue with how the board was advertised. It was advertised as having a top speed of 36kmph when in fact the top speed, when travelling on flat ground, is 32kmph. You could probably hit 40kmph when going downhill, but that doesn't really count. Having said that, 32kmph is still extremely fast and I'm happy with the speeds I can get. Secondly, my motor controller broke after 2 weeks of riding which wasn't any fault of mine. But also having said that, customer service has been really great and the day after it broke, they had already shipped me a replacement part completely free of charge. It's really easy to replace the part too, which is great. In conclusion, even with those few issues, I really really love my board. It's just so cool and ridiculously fun. It's the greatest gift I've ever bought for myself. I can't believe they're not more popular. Everyone that has a go on mine wants to get one for themselves, and they should! I'm currently trying to convince all my friends to get one!

Hi Kurtis, Thank you kindly for taking the time to write this review, we really appreciate your feedback. Regarding the maximum speed, can you please me a picture of your R2 BT Remote home page? I would like to ensure your speed limit is not set and that you have the correct wheel setting size selected. If these are not set properly, then your max speed will display differently. Unfortunately, I am unable to publish this review to the public as you have attached a video showing a rider drinking and not wearing a helmet which is against the law now. I know helmets don't 'look cool' but as you know, these boards can get up to high speeds and as much as we would like it, our heads will not take a beating by the concrete. Unfortunately, people in the last have not been so lucky. Be safe and let's keep the good times rolling! Looking forward to your response re. top speed. Regards

Personally I feel that the Stoke is really nice,. Great stability at high speeds and the carve is amazingly smooth especially when paired with the large blue cags. Speed and acceleration on this machine is definitely above average. The overall look of the product is really top notch . However, I would not consider this board as mini as it still has a rather significant size and weight to it. With that being said, I do a feel like this board lacks range. Many times when on leisure rides, I do wish that I could go further distances with it.

I pre ordered the Stoke board from Evolve and nervously waited for stock to hit the shop . Any anxiety i felt was immediately dissolved upon opening the slick packaging and checking out the Stoke for real . Yay ! An Aussie product to be proud of . With the short wheelbase it carves a treat and has plenty of punch and smashes any hills Byron Bay has on offer . The downside ? The flat nose deck is not ideal for true skateboarders . I have already swapped to a 36 inch double kick deck from the Landyachtz catalogue and its crazy fun .
