“Loving it! Its so freakin fast!
I love the look of the natural wood and the black componentry.
I bought it as an alternative/supplement to commuting to work on my MTB. I start work at 6am so the roads are pretty clear. Its so much fun carving up the whole road on the 8.8km daily commute .
Big battery with tons of stamina as I only need to charge the board every other day.
Only two issues : The battery charge port cover is a terrible design. It pops off all the time and Im sure dirt and moisture are going to find their way in eventually. A replacement cover the plugs securely inside the port would be good.
AND : The clearance of the rear truck and the ground isnt great. In only two weeks its developed some pretty concerning scrapes, just beside the belt drive (using the stock 97mm wheels) Im not jumping down curbs or anything, not sure whats doing it. (photos attached)
I plan to get the 107mm wheels for a better ride on rough roads and hopefully better ground clearance.”
“I've had so much fun on this skateboard. The delivery was really fast. The packaging is impressive. The only thing missing is the ability to get the accessories I'd like. Bit of a stock problem, but this is more due to virus than anything else.”
“Super fun toy very fast acceleration. Good build quality. Biggest criticism the the way if you come off the throttle too quickly the board wobbles causing you to come off which is annoying especially as I now have a damaged knee as my acl ripped the front of my shin off the rest of my tibia. Really should be advocating pads and helmets with these things they are dangerous!
All that being said can't wait for 6 to 9 months when i can get back on it.”
“My GTR bamboo street is so sick. I’m 57 and my son (who is 30) introduced me to Evolve. He got the Stoke and I got the GTR. We’re both having so much fun cruising around together. Our wives never see us The quality is unreal. From my first ride I couldn’t believe how it felt and the 97mm wheels just stick to the surface so well when carving. I’m loving it. Yeew!”
“Bearing in mind I'm only a steady carving skater weighing 95kg this thing is unbelievable I only use pro mode and that gets me up absolutely anithing at 12 mph
Been out on it over a dozen times for approx 1.5 hours each time and the battery is still on 46% so it's top marks from me”
