I have skated since I was 5 and now am 46. After a learning curve of two full battery charges I am powering up and down the massive Buderim hills outside my front door in GT mode. With the street set up carving hard up hills doing power slides in GT is insane fun. Turning radius is amazing for a 40" long board. Off road set up is fun too but I haven't had a chance to go totally off road yet. Planning to take it up to Mapleton QLD soon and hit the miles of mountain bike tracks in the National Park. Best tip I can give so far is read the manual twice before heading out for the first time and rotate your wheels every battery charge. Oh yea.....and buy one now!

Delivery to WA could be improved significantly but the board is nothing short of incredible. Well made, high quality board that performs just as well. Could not have expected any more. Job well done Evolve.

So I've had it for 3 weeks now, and have ridden it a minimum of 15km per day. The overall performance is awesome. It has surpassed all my expectations, and continues to surprise me. A few minor cons, but they are far outweighed by the list of pros. Carts a 85kg man to work in 10 mins and at 30km per hour I am getting 3 trips return, without the battery going below 50%. Was it worth the $2.2k? Every cent;-) nice little bonuses in kit too!!

I recently bought a GT Carbon Series 2in1 it's amazing. I think Terrain rides more comfortable than Street wheels.

I have had my board for 5 weeks and have now clocked over 700km on it going to work. No more traffic, a bit of core fitness, and listening to my podcasts to and from work, I love it. With At wheels on, I travel 23km each way up and down hills the board has excellent torque and I arrive at work with battery to spare. Charge up for the journey home. As tempting as this is once you get it to go as fast as you can, take the time to get to know the characteristics of the board first no matter how much you have ridden before. Get a helmet straight off the bat. Don't hesitate in buying the GT CARBON, you will love it. What a great piece of kit!

Ok, this is about the best of the best in terms of electric skateboards! I've been riding it for about 2 weeks now and every ride is more fun than the last, because the learning curve is long and the more confidence you build up the more fun it is to ride. Fast and GT modes are extremely torquey, you will need to be easy on the remote and lean forward to anticipate acceleration, it's quite a feeling. Not giving 5 stars because of the battery sag, the battery percentage shown will decrease when you are accelerating and moving, and if it hits 10-20% it will drop you down into Eco mode and board will suddenly slow down so you have to be prepared. The remote trigger has dead spots at the start and finish so it takes some getting used to in terms of when the acceleration kicks in. All in all it is great fun and you will need to get used to these quirks and keep the battery topped up before every ride for best results. A little understanding about these issues is needed to truly appreciate the board. I definitely don't regret the purchase and can happily work around the above issues.
