“I bought the Carbon GT 2 in one. So far it has rained for the two out of the three weeks I have owned it. But that one week that I have gotten to taking it out has been amazing.
I’m going to start off by saying I didn’t buy the board to commute, just to re live my younger days of carving up the pavement and having fun. And boy is this thing fun! From cruising along the beach on nice smooth pavement to hitting the local dirt jumps, the Carbon GT did not disappoint one bit! I would recommend taking it easy the first few times you ride it as I got a little too bold trying it out in GT mode and ended up being given a reminder of how much road rash hurt.
The carbon fibre on the board looks amazing. So good in fact I have made a custom stand for it and it sits in my lounge room. Makes me almost not want to take it out in the fear of scuffing it. And the chrome GT badges give it that little extra. I did find that after a few hours of riding it the first time the grip tape in the centre (on the Evolve insignia) did unstick and I had to stop and reset it but apart from that it looks amazing!
The remote feels really good in my hand and I think is the perfect size. The display gives me everything I need to know. I was really worried at first about using the accelerator and break but after a few minutes it became second nature.
Over all I would highly recommend the Carbon GT to anyone looking at getting an electric long board and have even convinced a couple of friends to get one.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5 is because when I was swapping the wheels over, I found that only one wheel had speed rings on it and the rest where missing and it didn’t come with any spares. Apart from that it’s an amazing product.”

If you spend some time researching buying an electric skateboard one of the biggest concerns is the connection to the controller. The Evolve R2 is flawless.
The braking is smooth. The speed is awesome. The AT wheels mean you do not have to worry about the board stopping on stones etc like normal skateboards.
