“Got my new toy about 2 weeks ago, absolutely love the way this thing carves, feels so much like my snowboard without needing to wait for the snow to fall and no lift queues. Never really been confident on a skateboard before but the addition of brakes gave me a completely different feel. The only problem is I went out to ride yesterday and when I tried to turn it on the power button that normally lights up started flashing and the remote wouldn't pair with the board. It's currently at the dealers in Melbourne, seemed like one of the motors had a bit of swarf stuck in it so hopefully its an easy fix. I want my toy back, miss it already. Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come, don't think it will be though, it does appear to be well built.”
“My first Evolve was a GT Bamboo. Comparative to this new GTR it’s not even close. The GTR is a crazy 10x upgrade. Battery is wildly impressive. The power and torque is great. The distance remarkable. The remote control is solid. Bluetooth is tight and responsive. And the app is really very cool. To be able to create an entry level custom mode that was above Safe Mode and under Eco Mode for my daughter to learn on was so amazing. The top end of custom mode is like way more power than anyone should have on a skateboard, but hey it’s there if you like it. The GT was a great board, no doubt, but it had technical limitations that have been totally solved. At least now I don’t get power drop after 5km where the board drops into eco. The GTR gives me consistent power for the whole battery. Consider that this is a small private company in Australia. It’s like so worth supporting them for ethical reasons too. I’m not sure how the GTR all terrain could be improved. Sublime. Evolve have come so far! This is the jewel in the crown of all eskates money can buy. Thanks guys. You created a masterpiece.”
“The riding experience of the CGTR has been great since the purchase, and Evolve has provided good aftersales support when needed, I would have given the product a 4+ star rating if not for the safety issues that surfaced tonight.
During the first group ride, my board was somehow connected to another person's remote for a short period, the motor was then activated and the board ran onto the road when my remote was still disconnected. Luckily there was no traffic when I chased it in a state of shock and confusion as to why the board ran off on its own, so I wasn't harmed in that process and an accident did not occur. It was probable, and I could very well have been badly injured by the glitch.
Later at one of the gathering points, another individual's Stoked was activated while he was away and interacting with someone else, it may be related, it may not be. Imagine if the user was unaware of this glitch and was on the road, where he or she received an unexpected break or acceleration, it is quite possible that they could have sustained serious injuries not of their own doing.”

Our R2 Bluetooth Remotes are compatible with any board in the GTR & Stoke range. If you are pairing to your board and are around fellow Evolve riders, there is a chance that the board can pair to another board. In this case, we recommend pairing remotes one at a time to avoid the confusion.

“Hey there. After long debating I decided to purchase the Carbon GTR with AT wheels. I was very hesitant to spend that much money, but I convinced myself that it’ll last for long enough to serve me for its price and I didn’t regret it so far. I owned a Koowheel before and I really loved it except when it died and had to send it to Germany for fixing, this happened two times, but the company always sent me an extra pack of battery as a gesture beside the free repair. As the board stopped the third time it seemed like Koowheel has vanished from the field and their staff mentioned the company doesn’t exists anymore hence I had to choose the right product for myself which because the EVOLVE. I am enjoying these all terrain wheel so much that I would never go back to street wheels. I had enough of those as I’m mainly using the board for work and have to go from one site to another within London. Today the police stopped me at a traffic light saying that I can’t ride it on the road and I have to walk away without using the board as it doesn’t have a license plate and that I can’t insure it for road!!! Anyway I look forward to have thousands of miles

“So far the board has been so much fun for my 8 year old son and I. I was expecting more power on grass areas and going up hills as the board does reduce speed quickly and in turn drains the battery faster. I have heard of cheaper Chinese brands going the same distance and speed for a fraction of the price but Evolve has a reputation of being the best so I'm hoping I have made the right choice.”
