“I remember skateboarding when I was a teenager (a few decades ago). E-boarding is a fantastic upgrade. To be honest I was on the fence for a while. I was researching e-boards and came across Evolve. I signed up to be on their email list at first. It took me about a year to finally take the plunge. And I'm so glad I did!
I contacted customer service via phone at first because I had some questions. They were super cool and put my mind at ease. The next day I bought a Carbon GTR with AT wheels. Let me tell you the ride experience is awesome! I'm a middle aged guy but feel like a kid again!”
“The board itself works a dream and I love it. Was worried about how well the Carbon AT would carve but it handles perfectly. No regrets with purchase at all.
Sadly however the board did arrive with a number of grip panels already unstuck and a few nearly completely peeled off as well. Emailed the world famous customer service who suggested a hairdryer to warm the adhesive which I tried or to glue it down with hot glue. The warming unfortunately didn’t work and I then lost a number more panels on my first ride. I can’t now reglue these down because they were lost or got grit on the adhesive. I am quite disappointed by this as the problem appeared straight out the box and it is certainly not a cheap board where poorer workmanship might be more expected. I would happily point out that the rest of the board looks well made and up to scratch though.
Disappointed as I want to adore the board but didn’t expect to be messing around thinking about regripping after 1 day.”
