Definitely hesitant and nervous but exhilarating
I wiped out already and the wife was shocked and horrified when I rocked up with cut hands (she is a hand therapist) and was not impressed lol
Only down side after my spill I broke the brake button on the remote so wished that the remote was a little more rugged otherwise the board is amazing
I have taken it off roading, on grass, gravel the terrible pot holed roads of the UK and it is so sweet and glides beautifully
Overall ecstatic with the board just embarrassed I have to ask for support on the remote after the first day lol”
“I really love my new board, it's a heap of fun and rides so well.
I have a gtx bamboo and it rides so sweet, so I was dubious about buying a non flex deck but I'm glad I did. Its epic and me being a old fat man and weighing in at 88kg it's more stable than the gtx at speed.. I did get the bushings kit and went with the Orange ones to eliminate wobbles..
I had a few issues with the deck early on, the battery didn't work and after resolving this one of the motors failed. But evolve are amazing rectifying any dramas and the warranty process is smooth and efficient.
Overall I would absolutely buy another one! Another plus is that the carbon deck turnes heads everywhere:)
One annoying thing is that the battery level indicator on the remote does not show accurate levels, for example going up a hill it will drop to 20% then go back up to 85% when on the flat, would have been good to see the level giving a incremental decrease to allow the user to manage time better.”

“Also have a boosted Mini X which is great for short fast commutes - GTR is way faster and much more like a snowboard (being a long board) - Got the 2-in-1 AT wheel conversion kit. Both types of wheels are awesome. Pretty sure I hit 55km/hr coming down Te Mata Peak road the other day on street wheels. Tghten the trucks up to eliminate speed wobbles. Also great service - ordered on a Wednesday at 2pm - was on my front porch at 8am the next day. Quality components and the extras like carrying case are a really nice touch. Also much quieter driveline than expected. Battery lasts for ages - overall very good product and looks and rides amazing”
“Can't get enough of riding this thing. Even though I've never ridden before, have arthritic everything and am stiff everywhere, I managed to ride around 20 km on the first day. Am still shit scared of crossing roads and curbs etc but can't wait to skate nearly every day.
Because of this I get explore parts of my city that I never would of before. It's so easy.
Oh yeah, I have had some minor stacks and even twisted my ankle, but I'll be right! It hasn't stopped me riding. :)”
