“This was my 2nd esk8 board, I quickly sold my first shortly afterwards . I love everything about the Carbon; the sleek low profile of the deck and battery compartment, the stability and comfort of the ride at speeds and over terrain. 2n1 is the best option by far, it will allow you to find out what type of rider you are right off the rip!!! “It took me ages to decide between Bamboo and Carbon.
I was leaning towards Bamboo thinking it was more comfortable, but when I did a demo ride, I realised that even though the Bamboo absorbed more of the road noise (and yes was 'a bit' more comfortable) the Carbon ride was not uncomfortable at all...
In the end, both boards are awesome, pick the one you find sexier - I guarantee you won't regret your decision and wish you got 'the other one'.
PS coming from riding a double kick skateboard, I like the stiffness of the Carbon. It feels more natural to me.”
“I had a Bamboo GT which I sold and now currently have a Carbon GTR and Stoke.
Each Evolve board rides differently, and that is the beauty about them.
If it’s long distance rides you want, you can’t go past the GTR boards.
I loved the feel of the Bamboo GT, the flex in the board was nice to ride, stable and easy to carve.
The solid feel of the Carbon GTR is another feel all together, very nice, very stable, easy to carve the ABEC 11/107 wheels are by far my favourite.
The Stoke is another different ride, with the kick tail you can manual along and carve nicely.
The Stoke has a smaller turning circle and so you can carve more extreme.
To wrap up my review I highly recommend any Evolve skateboard, they are quality boards, your money will be well spent with no regrets....your only issue will be which one to choose first.
When you get one you’ll want to get them all....big thank you to Evolve for making them, they are a skaters dream come true....straight up.”
“I have nothing bad to say about my GTR from the sales to product. The only thing I can compare this too is my old black hawk electric, and my new CGTR is no where near the same ranking as my old board.
I love it, can’t wait till I play around with the AT gears from 66 Down to 47 for that extra speed”
