“I recently bought the hadean after a friend of mine purchased the gtr as I needed my own electric skateboard. I had tested out the gtr a fair bit and got an idea of what I was after, and decided on the Hadean.
Now, while im aware that evolve does not claim these boards to be water proof, I have seen the GTR perform in wet conditions with no problems. With this in mind I believed the Hadean would also have somewhat of a resistance to wet weather, and was caught in a light shower whilst coming home from work when my board completely shut off and would not turn back on.
I contacted evolve and they were very helpful and apologetic about my situation and were fast to reply and get my board shipped off for servicing.
Overall I give the Hadean a 4/5 stars, as the performance is unmatched by any board I have rode, but the lack of weather resistance hold it back from being a 5 star skateboard IMO.
I write this review not to bash Evolve, but to make others aware of this as it very much could be a deciding factor between buying the GTR or Hadean. I myself could not find any reviews or discussion regarding the subject so I thought I would be the first.”
“At first the acceleration and speed are quite intimidating compared to the gtr. Although, braking and acceleration is a smother transition on the hadean . It's alot more quiet now due to the new motors, it's a whole lot more powerful compared to the gtr. Bushings out of the box are a little loose for me and as I turn sometimes the deck touches the tire and rubs slightly. The new stock tyres are definitely street/pavement biased. On street with At wheels it will climb steep hills at near gtr (At) top speeds. After buying it I feel like my gtr is not going to get use at all (98kg rider)”

“I have the Hadean Bamboo All-Terrain. LIke others have said, this is an amazing experience. I commute 10 miles round trip to work on the local paved and off-road trails. I have found the maintenance videos very helpful to ensure I have a reliable mode of transportation to work. The motors, board, wheels, trucks, bearings (and Shred lights I have mounted) have all worked extremely well. I have around 150 miles in my first two months. I am skier and so this is my summer gig. It is an endless riding experience with no chair lift. I just turned 60 years old and am having the time of my life. I purchased an extra wheel/bearings and carry the spare with me every ride. I also have enjoyed using the Evolve App to join the Ride and Rank crew. I am actually a happier more enjoyable person the days when I ride. I skateboarded as a kid before there were any parks in the area. It has been so enjoyable to bring those memories and intuitive feel of riding. What I get from the ride I give back to those I serve in my job and family. The HBAT ROI rocks!!”
“Cant believe how good this thing is. I'm turning 50 in a month and thought why not. Even though I surf a lot I hadn't skateboarded for about 35 years and I was a little bit worried how'd I go. I shouldn't have worried. First day with my son and friends we were already carving around paths and grass hills. Felt like I was snowboarding (yes I occasional snowboard) or cruising a long wave. The longer board and nice width make it very stable once you tighten the trucks. Plus the power is unbelievable and it kept going for couple hours running it on grass and hills. Mates are ordering as well now so we can go on group rides. Love it”
“This is the second Evolve board Ive owned , I upgraded from the GTX bamboo to the Hadean bamboo and absolutely love the Hadean, haven't riden it much yet though what I have it's fantastic so much power and fun , if you are thinking about buying one do it you won't be disappointed, cheers”
