A couple of weeks ago, he accidentally had it on a wrong setting and he returned it back to the store to get fixed. “Hi there I’ve had my evolve for about 4 months now , and have enjoyed the 4 hours I’ve had on it before some breaks on it , been through 2 motors controller and one motor and two hand controllers , very expensive products, luckily the warranty replaced it all but the remotes ,The remotes seem to break very easily, like it fell off my bed onto the floor and split into two , I brought an eskateboard from black hawk electric before I brought my gtr,because I need more speed and range, but I have to say the $500 board from them hasn’t broke once even the remote and it looks real cheap lol .the evol bamboo gtr is great fun to ride,but getting to expensive and time consuming if thinks keep going wrong ,”
“I put my board through it's paces and it performs great. Eats hills for breakfast was not over stating it. I ride a lot of quite extreme offroad situations and it handles them just fine. After a few months of really giving it a good push the thermostat didn't pick up that it was overheating one time and I cooked either the ESC and/or motors, oops. But customer service was great - they found the board at fault and replaced the ESC and both motors no questions asked. Back on the road in two weeks. The only design fault I really have issue with is quite well known - the rubber plug to cover the charge port doesn't stay in while riding. The quick fix most riders use is a bit of duct tape. This design could easily be fixed if the plug had a ridge so that it pops or clicks in. I expect the next complete board that Evolve releases will have this taken care of. A minor gripe but glaringly obvious, would probably give 5 stars if they'd picked up on this before release.”
“I am a 40 year old surfer of 20 years really . I got my first longboard skateboard in March (iso present )then soon evolved .....
I noticed crew on electric boards then I purchased the gtr carbon after researching .
I Absolutely love it . I only ride it for fun . I don’t commute with it .
I love carving and going for an hour each day or night as I have the lights .
I have also been out to mtb tracks in the otways and small Bmx tracks . The off road stuff is the best . Getting really low and in the zone on off road tracks is so much fun.
I had a problem with the controller and my problem was solved by your service team .
I couldn’t complain about a thing other than when it rains to be honest .
