I wanted a smaller wheel that's durable, water resistant, and good for shorter rides with slower PEVs (one-wheels). The a2+ is perfect for that role and the 50s batteries are a step up from the competition. Jason and team always provide great customer support throughout the lifetime of the product!

Super strong little device, way more useful around a campsite than any OW (sorry/not sorry).

Hi Jacob, wow, nice riding! Thank you for your review, the larger battery and wheel diameter really do help. Stay safe and happy riding :)

This thing is great! If your considering it as a commuter do it! 20mph doesn't seem fast but it feels plenty quick and lots actually pretty fun to ride around! It was my first wheel and Im very happy with it. Also, I expected it to be like a little mini wheel but having no comparison to another wheel, this is pretty great size. My only thing is it feels almost too skinny like a wider body would be more comfortable.

Glad to see that you're enjoying the A2! It's one of the best starter wheels, with plenty of water resistance. The max speed is closer to 25MPH but it starts getting sketchy once you approach that limit. Stay safe out there and always wear gear.

Bought this for my 98lb wife to learn and grown into. I weigh 215lbs and this thing has no issue moving me around. Great fun little wheel to take and explore at slower cruising speeds. Lowered the street tire to 20psi and it feels great. Some good jump pads would make this even better but it's a great wheel already.

Thanks for this review! The A2 is a fun and light machine, glad you're enjoying it. Be mindful of the PSI, we actually recommend values over 30, to protect the rim. Power pads would be great, we do have some of them available for purchase as well.

Haven't logged a lot of miles on mine but first impressions are awesome, with all the hype around Marty's cutout, I too was hesitant (bought mine earlier than his accident) and actually thought about selling it, glad I didn't, I wanted something to split the difference between my mTen3 and Nikola+, also something to ride around the yard and as a trainer wheel, it fits the bill perfectly, probably the easiest wheel I've ridden. This thing has plenty of zip to haul my 215 lbs anywhere I want to go, doubt I'll ever top it out speed wise but that's not what I bought it for. Extremely pleased with eWheels and my new wheel!!

We really appreciate this review and breakdown of the A2. Our version has the 40T battery cells and shouldn't be experiencing the other issues from those other 50E variants. The A2 is really a great wheel, a much needed improvement over the MTen4. Glad you're enjoying the machine, it's also one of the more water resistant models on the market.

I wanted to wait till I had a few miles on this thing and so far have 85 miles on the Begode A2. Was hesitant at first after seeing Marty’s cut out on him, but not cut outs or any issues so far, except my R foot pedal feel like it’s loose, but none of the bolts are loose and can’t figure out why it’s loose. Other than that a solid wheel and feels very well made. Would buy again for sure!

I preordered the Begode a2 at the beginning of June and it finally arrived in the middle of July. Not much communication on updates during that time but very speedy replies whenever I inquired about its whereabouts. Will be ordering from you guys again!
