“Purchased an Ex30 last year from Ewheels. It is by far my favorite wheel to ride on the street. I recently went on a ride and noticed an issue with my tire. I picked up the wheel to spin the wheel to observe it and it spun to a point where it stopped balancing. Normal response. I figured I'd just lay it down and feel the tire. I then picked the wheel back up to power cycle it and then ride back to my truck. The display showed nothing. It was already off. I tried to power the wheel back on, long press, double tap, repeatedly press the button.... nothing. I was pretty far out, so I called an Uber to get back to my truck.
Brought the ex30 back home, to see if I could just unplug the batteries to reset the main board.
Nothing.
Emailed ewheels and received a response within a couple of hours on the weekend. They needed pics and a video of what its doing. Sent it and later the next day, they said that they were shipping a replacement main board.
My wheel is back to working status in less than a week.
Superb warranty interaction. I can't say that for any other PEV company that I have purchased products from.
This is my 4th PEV from them btw.
