“I purchased my Begode Falcon because I wanted something bigger than my mten3 with suspension. I didn’t want to go too big since I’m mainly only riding on my property. After ordering I was afraid the Falcon wouldn’t be much of an upgrade (size wise). I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived as it dwarfs my mten3 in every way. I was expecting something much smaller since on YouTube everyone calls it a small wheel and video does not do it justice. If you are coming from a mten3 like me it takes some getting used to. Mostly due to the pedal height and weight difference. Riding through grass fields and gravel roads are much easier and effortless in comparison. Not as nimble as the mten but with practice I should be able to close that gap some. Build quality is excellent . Thanks to Marty for the referral and Jason for the wheel.”
“Falcon is my 3rd EUC, and it feels like a big EUC in small package. So much power in a small wheel, that I was a skeptic about the motor power specs. I immediately changed my mind after the first ride, and was flying up hills. My initial tire pressure was a bit high and caused a gyro effect. Once I lowered it down to 30, carving smoothed out.
The reason for the 4 stars is the pad situation could have been thought through a bit better. We know a good portion of riders will use different pads. But in doing so, it exposes areas that will need extra protection like the rear handle, rear kickstand, and pedals in the closed position if the wheel gets dropped. I'm sure there will be lots of aftermarket accessories, so we'll all be good soon. Until I throw on some extra protection, gonna baby this wheel.”
“I need to take a day off from this thing but I just can't stop! It has exceeded my expectations for a small wheel. It has a lot of torque and because it is light you can flick it around and take in small technical areas that you might not want to bring your large electric unicycle in. Just plain fun!”
“Absolutely loving the Falcon! Build quality is exceptionally high, seems torquey and very nimble. This wheel is very capable and feels perfect for running errands, camping, hitting some trails or just cruising the town. I Wish the suspension was adjustable without taking the cover off so it was easier to setup for multiple riders but it's easy to get to and for one rider once its set to your liking shouldn't need adjusting! I am super glad EWheels includes both sets of springs. The charger is one of the best stock chargers any of my wheels have came with at 5A it charges quickly and is silent unlike my stock 5A Lynx charger. Suspension feels great for what it is and makes this wheel so much fun to ride! If you're considering the Falcon id highly recommend it! Definitely a great beginner wheel! Pedals are nice and high and with actual spikes giving you plenty of grip nice to see these stock! I went with the knobby tire and I've been loving it both on and off road! Pads arent terrible and seem to protect the wheel well. Hope Grizzla or Clark come out with a kit to help protect it as well when stock pads are removed. Definitely love that Begode has pre installed Velcro making it extremely easy to remove the stock pads and add your own. Great job Begode for really stepping it up and providing us with some great high quality wheels. Order yours today from Jason you won't regret it!”
“Only giving it a 4 star because I'm comparing it against another wheel I own. For it's size I give it a 5 star. I bought it for my kids to share and they are between 90 and 120lbs. It's just the right size for them.”
“I bought one for offroad. I unboxed mine from eWheels a few days ago. I have no complaints except for the Trolly handle. I wish they kept the one from the prototype, I'm not a fan of the Begode design but that's just personal opinion, metal can still look cheap, and hinder seat attachment in some cases. It would be better if it locked opened as well. I crashed the Falcon twice already (once from trying to learn to sit and once from cut out , I think, because the road was clean I was trying to go 20+ mph around 30% + - battery, in race mode) Anyway all that to say that the handle is loose now because it's connected to the body through a large array of failure points(screws). It's not a huge deal obviously, but it sucks that the 6 screw heads at the front control the position of the trolley handle relative to the lock above the tail light in the back. I would like the entire handle setup to telescopic and vertically incased within the back. So it is protected and out of the way, unless I need it. As for other things. After a few months I plan on getting a hole saw bit for a drill and some waterproof grommet or similar to cap the holes I'll be drilling in the top of the plastic cover above the suspension adjustment, so I can maintain waterproofing and still be able to access the dials inside whenever I want, without tools. In regards to the stock pads, I don't mind them but I have small feet. I will be replacing them with Mini Grizzla pads maybe. I'm not sure yet. But I will say that for me the stock pads would be fine if they protruded from the sides further. The braking pad is not wide enough, and I guess the Toe gap could be a little more spacious vertically, but as much as I've rode it (20 miles) I think it is okay for me. But the pads are definitely for Asian sizes or children. All in all pretty good wheel. Would buy again.”
Hi Charlie, thank you for your review! We'll pass this feedback on to Begode, it is pretty common for riders to replace stock Begode pads with an aftermarket option for the reasons you mentioned. Glad to hear you're enjoying the wheel otherwise though, stay safe and enjoy the ride :)
