Begode MonsterPro Special Edition, 3,600Wh Battery, 3,500W Motor Off Road Reviews

I have 100v Version 2: Love the wheel. Big gain from MSuper V3+ is the comfort at high speeds (28-34mph). MSuper could go in high 20's, low 30's but felt more tense at those speeds. If these wheels were cars, MSuper V3+ would be a mid size sedan, Monster is an SUV.

The Monster 100V V3 is a blast to ride, and it's now my primary wheel. What makes it so compelling is the smooth speed. Other wheels may have enough power, but the rough ride (and maybe some wobbles) prevent you from going top speeds on anything but perfect pavement. The big tire of the Monster evens out the bumps and provides stability so you can go fast basically all the time.

Awesome ride, chews up bumps and spits them out. Hitting 20mph feels nice and smooth. Im ready to ride the Avenue of the Giants to see how far I can go.

Although my Monster came with 2 small cracks in the rear of the shell, I was still happy with my purchase. Jason took care of my issue immediately and sent me a new set of shells no questions asked. Now about the wheel.. they certainly don't call it a monster for nothing. This wheel is a beast! I just can't get enough of it. It feels a close to riding in a car as you could possibly feel riding a unicycle. It's so smooth and fast. I regularly ride it around 40 mph and can do that for hours. When ordering the monster I opted for the larger Nikola pedals and it made such a difference. I don't regret a thing.

This is my 2nd EUC purchased from Jason. The first was an MSuper V3S+. I am 6'3" 240# and just wanted a little bit more top speed and power than I was able to squeeze out of the MSuper V3S+. WOW!! The 100v Monster does NOT disappoint! This thing is a BEAST! Bumps? What bumps? ;) The ride is so incredibly smooth and fast. It is more maneuverable than I expected it to be based on what others had said. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this wheel to anyone that wants to take it to the next level.

Holy Cow. This thing is special. I am a speed demon and this wheel does not disappoint. Initially I feel that it lacked feedback, but know I appreciate that it is just smooth. I easily hit the low 30's without any problem and cruising in the high 20's is just buttery. It is a great wheel. I would recommend it as a second wheel to someone that has a small wheel that is looking to just curve and roll without a care in the world. I have a mTEN3 and a KS18L.

The Gotway Monster is absolutely unique. The sheer size and weight of it guarantees that the ride experience is unlike anything else you can experience on one wheel. It's a Cadillac. It's a Hummer. It's a Jaguar. It is smoooooooth. It can deal with bumps, holes, roots, and generally rough terrain without any issues at all. The new control board and motor give it a power delivery that is hard to believe until you've experienced it. It feels like it has ENDLESS power, and shows it off best at speed. This wheel really comes into its own in the 20+ mph range, and the speed is deceiving! Everything about the wheel promotes a sense of languid ease, and the glide is so smooth that you won't realize how fast you're going until you check your phone or GPS! Even then though, the Monster makes it feel effortless and you can tell that it's always ready for more. The handling is, again, unique. It is a chunky wheel, and there's no dressing that aspect up. You will have to take a wide stance with it and it will take several rides for your shins to get used to the high contact point. But once you do, this unwieldy-seeming beast will even its temper out a bit, and it becomes an absolute pleasure to ride. The stability is incredible, especially at speed, and even though it looks like it would be a challenge to turn, it's actually fairly nimble at low speeds once you learn to use your body weight in concert with it. The acceleration is... different than any other wheel I've ever ridden. There is no doubt that the Monster has ample power. However, you do have to learn how to use it. The Monster has inertia and likes to stay at rest, so in order to change that you'll need put some effort in. Because the pedals are so stiff, you can stand on the forward edges of them on your tiptoes and the Monster will take off at a pretty good pace, but still more slowly than any other wheel. If you really want it to take off like the beast that you know is hidden within it, then you will have to clamp down on the sides of it with your legs and force it to tilt forward. When you do, it will take of like a bat out of hell, and you had better be ready for it! All that said, I have not had a single second of buyer's remorse since the moment I clicked the purchase button. The Monster is a one-of-a-kind specimen in the EUC ecosystem, and one of the most joyful that I can imagine owning. It's big. It's fast. It's different. It's not for everybody. But if you're willing to learn about it, then you will have no regrets when you finally get it.
