Begode Master Pro V3, 4,800Wh Battery, C40 5,000W Motor, Suspension V2 (50GB) / Knobby Tire Reviews

The folks at eWheels are great! I rode a friend's EUC once last summer (for about ten minutes holding on to my friend's arm) and have been thinking about getting one ever since, but wanted to go look at the different models. I wrote them to ask if I could go to Tucson and compare wheels. They wrote back the same day and told me the Tucson location is not a showroom, but they would gladly let me visit and show me some wheels. I drove up to Tucson a couple of days later and they let me see, touch, and compare several wheels! I ended up ordering a Begode Master Pro V3 because I live way out in the country and range is my top requirement. I have had it for a few weeks now and have been practicing a little most days. Started in the house getting on and off and doing pendulums and stationary turns while doing pendulums holding on to something, then moved to the patio after a couple of days to do short runs of a few feet to maybe fifty feet without stopping. Been taking it really slow learning about an hour a day. Yesterday, I went to an empty parking lot in town and rode for a couple of hours, first time fast enough to wear a helmet. My most evident weakness right now is getting on and going without needing to hold on to anything to get started. I set the speed limit to 20 mph with a slow down warning at 15 mph. After the first fifteen minutes or so getting warmed up, I was hearing the "Slow down" warning every straight way as I broke 15 mph. :) Had two minor crashes, both involving curbs... went off one from a sidewalk, and went up one on accident. Landed on my feet both times, but dropped the wheel the hardest yet... no damage except a few more good scratches. Got to experience my first little speed wobbles, but no big ones, just did a little carving and slowed down and the wobbles vanished quickly. Getting really close to going on my first real ride! Thanks again to the great folks at eWheels!

Purchased from eWheels: 2/29/24 Rider has 2 years, 13,000mi EUC experience. “Should be called the EX50, instead of the Master Pro V3” The wheel I have is the version 3 of the Master Pro. It runs a 5,000 watt motor, Samsung 50GB 4,800wh batteries, stronger black rim, a nice street motorcycle tire, weighs 127 lbs, has the new EX30 display and seat, and a different control board. In looking at the design of this Master Pro V3, it has more direct roots to the EX30, with all-metal construction and design appearance. RIDE: The wheel feels heavy at first, because most of that weight is in the batteries. After a few rides, it feels natural. I can do tight turns, ride at walking speeds and backwards on the Master Pro V3. after 200 miles, I don’t feel any limitations. I can take it in the grocery store, run errands and commute in heavy traffic. I put it in “Soft Mode” for long rides, and “Medium/Hard Mode” for agility and commuting. IMPROVEMENTS: The only improvements I see at this time is the FENDERS. The current fender plates are too small, and grit will get into the shock and linkage. With some 1mm plastic sheeting and 3m sticky tape, the “fenders” can be extended to protect the shock from water, mud, and grit. I will likely re-form an E-bike rear fender to fit into the Master Pro V3. CONCLUSION: Excellent wheel for distance and commuting. Nice to have the large battery to reduce cut-out anxiety. The "rear center stand" is actually a battery support brace with secondary function of a "kickstand" . The V3 Can be weatherproofed and modded. Get a backpack rain-cover to put over the top of the wheel if you get caught in the rain. Has a huge amount of torque - you can ride UP the stairs. Wheel runs cool. 3rd time is a charm. Recommend 2+years EUC experience to get maximum enjoyment out to this wheel. Oh, and this wheel is fast. 66mph clocked on YouTube.

Hey Christian, very glad to hear you're enjoying the wheel! Excellent summary, your riding experience definitely shows. The V3 is certainly the pinnacle of what an EUC can achieve right now, it's exciting to see how far we've come over the years. Continuous improvement is important, so we'll be sure to forward your feedback directly to Begode :)

I got the begode master pro, and this wheel is freaking huge, watched videos of it but you really can't tell until your taking it out of the box. It's also quite smooth on the streets because of it's huge wheel. Ironically I find myself going slower on it then my other wheels even though it has a faster cruising speeds. Averaging around 35, where as on my Patton that I also got from EWheels, I find myself cruising at 42/43 on that one effortlessly. But I also haven't put pads on the pro yet, I'm waiting for 3d printed fairing. So far my experience of the master pro is that it's the ultimate touring wheel, and it's nice having specific wheels specialized for specific things. Can't wait to ride two cities away and just discover my community with a different perspective.

The Master Pro is definitely one of the biggest and heaviest wheels on the market with it's unrivaled battery packs. Let's not forget that it's also one of the fastest! Glad the Master Pro is treating you well, let us know how that trip goes. We're curious to see how far someone can go with these battery packs.

Hands down the king of wheels, this thing is incredible, the torque is great, the power is amazing, the range is much better than my Sherman OG, handling of the wheel is surprisingly easy, off-roading is great on this. Handles jumps and drops well "if you know how to absorb", this is a dream wheel. Not only is the product incredible, so is the staff. Jason, Eric and the rest of the staff are the best to deal with hands down. There warranty is amazing. After sales support is next level. If all current companies would follow this business model that would be great.... I would never go anywhere else. Best in the business

Jason and the team are nothing short of spectacular. I am in Canada and push anyone I know to order outside of Canada and to support E-Wheels, Jason and the incredible team. I am grateful for the way I have been treated, I can honestly say, there is not one company here in Canada that we have that would have done the things that E-Wheels has, both Professionally and personally. If all business models has this kind of structure, ethics, knowledge and more, I can say honestly the world would be a better place. Best in the business. Thank you for the years of support, al my wheels have come from you, and all fiture wheels will as well. Life long supporter! Cheers
