“As a 56 year old rider, and my first wheel, I have no point of comparison for the MTEN4. I will say that I took to learning and riding this wheel with great exuberance, and now confidently and with enthusiasm. This thing is addictive, and I no longer want to walk anywhere! At only 28 pounds, I can throw the MTEN4 up on my back seat, and it goes everywhere I go. I can park at the outer edge of any lot and ride in. I ride cirlces in our warehouse furing lunch breaks almost every day. I have tumbled this thing so many times, and it's pretty well beat up before I realized added protection is available, but it took the licking and keeps on going. I've straightened the frame twice now, and had to reseat connectors on the motherboard after tumbles down stairs, but it's a tank. From reading reviews of other riders on different machines and watching tons of videos, I feel that I am overly equipped to deal with the dreaded wobbles, because the downfall of a smaller wheels appears to be stability... but I've about got it whipped. Begode seems to get a bad rap in social media circles, but from MY experience with the mten4, I'll most likely stick with Begode.”
Hi Quinton, welcome to the world of EUC riding! It is a common phenomenon, the desire to walk anywhere drops to near zero after learning to ride :) Nice work on fixing those issues, we'll be here to help should any more arise in the future.
“The Mten 4 electric unicycle offers impressive power in a compact package. Its lightweight design makes it easy to carry, while its strong torque ensures smooth acceleration and effortless climbs. With unmatched maneuverability, navigating tight spaces is a breeze. Whether you're commuting or exploring, the Mten 4 is an ideal choice for riders of all levels.”
“Everything I wanted the Mten3 to be! The great: Ingress protection is awesome, I've pushed a bow wave. Torque is awesome, I'm 135lbs, but for me it climbs and descends hills and embankments head-on without bogging down or running away. Range is great, after a 20-mile round-trip I had 30% battery remaining. Headlight and taillight are roadworthy. The off-road tire has much improved grip on muddy sidewalks. Pedal design is awesome for wet muddy riding. And there's a display. Mine came with an "EUC Bodyguard" from roll.nz, that has handled a couple of laydowns without a mark and it functions as a comfortable power pad even for jumps.
To be desired: A manual-- can you believe there isn't even something online?! What does the display mean? What do the lights and beeps mean? How do I unlock Transport Mode if there isn't a lift switch? Oh, and, there should be a lift switch! An Android app that doesn't side-load, or access more features in EUC World app. I still have factory speed limits invoked, but top speed is below specified 30kmph (19mph). My headlamp Fresnel lens has exposed ribs, hard to wipe clean (installed backward?). Then there's the practical question how to carry it any required longer distance, you'll feel the extra weight.”
“I looked at a lot of different wheels and a lot of people said this wasn't a good starter wheel but I have to disagree My friend top on this and immediately started arriving and it's much easier to ride it slow speeds. Plus it just looks cooler than most of the big wheels”
“Great job as always with great customer service just recently purchased the mten4 and love it. It's extremely nimble and probably the most enjoyable wheel but just won't cut it as a small wheel cruiser that can go at least 30 mph w.o the wobbles early 20mph which is what I'm hoping for what the t4. Oh and I added a photo of a card that had 100.0v" buta picture with my euc.world saying 84 , how many volts is it just making sure”
