“I wish I would have purchased this charger sooner. The charger is more convenient with this charger compared to the stock one for the InMotion V12. I measured the voltage and it outputs at precisely 100.8 volts. It charges the v12 HT so much faster if I need it too. Otherwise, I typically still charge at 2 amps.
I like that the charger completely shuts off the current to the wheel after charging has been completed to the selected 100, 90, or 80% charge setting. I found that you can change the amperage setting after charging has already been started.
I don't find that the fan is too loud, but it is charging in my garage.
I like the display statisitcs like how many watts accumulate as the charge is happening. Although, the display could be a little bigger.”
“Worth every penny! Got this because my standard charger broke. I love options for how much charge to use. If I'm planning on riding soon, I charge at 6 or 8 amps. If I'm done riding and the wheel needs a charge I can set it at 2 and leave it to get a full charge. I use the quick charge when I want to go for a long ride and my wheel is down to 50 or 60%. A few minutes at 8 amps and I don't have to cut my ride short. After the ride I can recharge the wheel to 100% at 2 amps (which I believe is easier on the batteries ??).”
“I love this rapid charger because it gives me options on how I want to charge my wheels. I also want to prolong the battery life. The charger is a little loud but that is a good thing because it means the fan is working hard to keep the charger from overheating. And if you're a previous customer, ewheels will waive the shipping fee for you. How awesome is that?”
