“New charger is smaller, lighter, and fits better in your pack. However, missing functionality of voltage source toggle between 110v and 220v keep in mind if you plan to tap into Car charger systems. New charger also has a quality ball bearing fan that is decently quiet compared to older charger.”
“Received mine with the V11 adapter. My initial adapter was bad because the unit kept shorting out and not charging my V11 (power button would pop, and pressing it would lead to an immediate pop). Jason sent out replacements right away, and it corrected the issue.
I love how I can slow charge (setting to 1-amp) overnight or fast charge (setting to 5-amps) when I'm doing multiple rides that day, or anywhere in-between. Also, I can set how much I want to charge my battery (80%, 90%, or 100%), and the charger will stop charging at that point. There is a display window that shows the Volts & Amps being used to charge your battery. It also shows Time, Watts, Temp (in Celcius), Ah, and Wh.
I have read in many forums that charging to 100% can damage your batteries since breaking will put power back into your battery, and overcharging is not good, so this allows me to always charge to 90% without having to monitor my InMotion app. This is no problem for me at all since I took a 20-mile ride with hills recently, and got back with over 50% battery still remaining.
Another upside is that I can use the same charger for my V8F, but that wheel can only take up to 3-amps, so I need to be extra careful when charging my V8F. So far, I'm happy with this purchase!”
“Amazing charger, great to be able to choose the amp for the charge, not always need to charge in a hurry and can also charge to 80% of peak so great to make sure battery is kept at right level for storage. LCD screen is great too, lots of info and displays current batt voltage so no need to turn on scooter to check how much charge left. Very sturdy construction, doesn’t feel cheap like stock charger does.”

“Seems robust and charges quickly. I like the adjustability to only charge to 80% or 90% to maximize recharge cycles. No issues with my V10 with it not charging to 100%. Pretty pricey for a charger but it's over 3x faster than stock and doesn't hurt to have 2 chargers! Also got a discount when I bought a charger with a wheel!”
