“This is my first wheel and it has been a blast. I was up and riding down the street in under 30 minutes, but I have "analog" unicycle experience. :) It has been so fun to ride around the neighborhood. I will definitely be purchasing another wheel!”
“Bought it and took it along with me through the airport. 22 pounds ain't light but it sure isn't 70 lbs.
The wheel cut off switch isn't really well located (especially if you're a left hander), it works.
Performance is crisp, fast, and responsive. Almost a little squirrelly. But it's easy to get used to.
I've personally had some issues with wobbling at speed, but I suspect that's more on me, as I had to overcome it with my other wheel too.”
“First wheel, its very squirrely, especially on uneven surfaces, but it has a lot of acceleration to will get you to speed quick and will stop pretty decently as well . A little sketchy to cruise at 20mph+, its butter at walking speed kinda just feels like you're floating and definitely manageable ~15. Great starter wheel to force you ride it right but a little small if you are an adult. ----5'10" 150lbs”
“Love this EUC for riding around the apartment. For commuting... seems impractical. For a last mile vehicle... it’s workable. Torque is so twitchy, i love to hear that motor groan”
“My first EUC... to learn on and to cherish. Can't you just jump on it and go? No, you very carefully mount it and immediately recognize every nuance of your physical condition. Wow! I've got to build up my lower leg muscles. The Mten3 height is low on my calf, and when leaning into it to adjust the center of gravity so as to eventually get mounted on both pedals, it causes enormous pressure to be applied to the area of contact. You quickly identify with the neophyte's learning pangs. I have covered the wheel with that tubed-foam-rubber baby protection stripping to help save it during my learning trials. The pedals have already taken a beating from my practice sessions. Many folks have said to me that a larger wheel diameter is easier to learn on, but I'm committed to my little buddy Mten3. The foam rubber taped to the wheel and the foam padding on the inside of my shins secured with an elastic bandage seems to support my progress. One more thing, I've found that using the soft mode is a lot more satisfying and conducive to building confidence. I suspect before this month's ended that I'll have the skills of an old retired circus performer. Yehaw! It feels good to glide.”
“Rugged, with incredible utility in a small low cost package. The small diameter wheel makes it a great climber. This was my first wheel and hundreds of crashes only result in some scratches. I compare this thing to riding a bicycle. I have taken it on trails and the biggest limitation is the ground clearance not clearing rocks. The small diameter wheel has trouble with curbs although I can jump with the wheel because it's so light. The lights did stop working and ewheels offered to send me a new controller.”
