Begode Nikola+ 1,451Wh Molicel/2,000W Motor, 3″ Wide Tire Reviews

4.9 Rating 36 Reviews
This wheel is amazing! Coming from a V8, this wheel handles quite a bit differently. It is like what everyone says - the wheel is harder to turn (likes to keep going straight) and the side pads were uncomfortable at first, but once you get used to it you won't go back. It took me about 3 days of riding it to and from work (~6miles each way) to get used to the wheel, but man is it comfortable. The power from the wheel is scary at first and the weight / inertia of the wheel can be a little frightening... so my best advice is to start off slow! Again, once I got accustomed to the way the wheel is handled everything is fine. The version I have is the new 21700 1800Wh - a little bonus is that this version no longer makes the annoying gotway startup sound! All it does is beep in the beginning. Still loud... but not as obnoxious as the previous versions of the wheel. The only downside again is the weight - but all things considered, this was a great purchase for me and will pay itself off with the savings from not having to ubering/own a car.

Didn't want to write any reviews of the Nik 21700 until I rode first 100 miles. Crossed that line today and I have to say its just a great wheel! Its just a fast ride, stable, nimble and powerful. I ride in traffic where its important to keep up and this wheel performs! Feels safe, solid and smooth. The 16" tire is fat enough to absorb bumps and nimble enough for quick maneuvers. 35 mile ride today with 45% battery left and thats riding hard! So plenty of range. Definitely recommend this wheel for the urban street ride. Not sure Id be as happy on the dirt trails but Im sure it would perform. Overall a 5 star review on a very fun ride!

I have over 3k miles experience on the Onewheel XR, and I was looking for something new to give me more power, range, and speed for commuting. After much research, debating, forums and reddits, I narrowed it between the Kingsong 16X and Gotway Nikola. I chose the 84v/1600wh for my first EUC - yes, my FIRST EUC. Most people either gave me benefit of the doubt for being new, but I wanted a wheel that had more power from the get-go, lighting, louder blue-tooth, and tested firmware. In 2 hours on my first day, I was able to tame this beast... or at least circle around the playground. On my 2nd day, I found myself riding around my local park no issues. As a very new EUC rider, I HIGHLY recommend both the Nikola 84v, and purchasing from Jason here on eWheels. His customer service and shipping is outstanding, responding to my emails very quickly and efficiently. He shipped my wheel within the same day, and it even came in 1 day earlier than expected! I live in New York so that was awesome. The Nikola is a bit heavy as newbie, but you'll quickly adjust to the weight as long as you give yourself as many breaks as you need. I've obviously dropped my wheel a few times (4-5), but the shell holds up so far. Speakers are amazing, the lighting is vibrant, the ride is very smooth and responsive. My only gripe is the dreaded Gotway App I've read so much about... but other than that, I do not regret this purchase. I can't wait to learn this wheel more so I can properly use it for commuting and exploration. Most of all, thank you Jason! You're the man.
