“This wheel is awesome. Super smooth ride and very capable. The speakers work well and the headlight is fairly bright as well. It is a great starter wheel without breaking the bank or having to upgrade in 6 months.... though I am already getting the itch for a 3" wide wheel... Would definitely recommend the Tesla.”
“This is a killer machine, very stable, very fast and fun to ride. Been on a ninebot C+ last 3 years, no comparison between the two, speed and range are so much better on the got way, took a day or two to get comfy on the tesla because its wider and side pads hit different place on your inner calf so wider stance. I feel so much safer on this wheel, not quite as agile in tight places or real slow situations because much heavier and wider but I'll trade that for stable ride any day, the C+ was starting to make woo woo noise and warble about 10 mph so time to retire it, I'm positive I made the right choice on the tesla... I'm so confident and assured while I'm zipping along, it's nice to have the reserve speed and distance to enjoy your ride.... Gotway Tesla V2 is the bomb, thanks ewheel for your assistance in my upgrade decision NO REGRETS ..... got a helmet and knee, elbow and wrist guards to realize the full potential of this machine....”
“What a beast of a wheel. Stability is off the chart and power is never ending not to mention the agility of this thing. Feeling of total control yet a monster under your feet. This has great value considering the price vs performance.”
“Whoa boy, so let's start with the fact that buying this EUC as a 1st wheel is... a little nuts. It is powerful. I lacked enough respect originally, and it not so gently changed that. The wheel is beautiful. Absolutely powerful. Well built. Solid. When it says "2000w" it means it. I'm so glad I bought it, but it has taken patience to learn how to ride it. Probably I should have bought a 12" or 10" wheel to learn, but I wanted to buy one wheel and keep it forever. That's this one. No chance I grow out of it, it will go faster than I'd ever want to go. Only drawback is that it is so pretty that I cringe when it crashes. I don't want to scratch it up, but that's what learning is about. Highly recommended.”
“I've been researching wheels for a while as a "last mile" commute option, and had narrowed things down to a couple wheels. Called Jason here at eWheels and after we spoke for a bit he actually recommended this wheel over the other two. It arrived fast and I immediately started working on learning how to ride it. This wheel is gorgeous. It is the "black carbon fiber" color and looks like a million bucks. Keep in mind, generally speaking, this is not a "beginner wheel" but I was able to ride down to the end of my street and back after about an hour of practice. The bluetooth actually worked well (I'd read some users had issues) and I have both the Gotway and a 3rd party app for it. The bluetooth speaker is just OK, but I didn't buy this wheel to play music. And as far as power/smoothness goes, this wheel is a beast.”
“Gotway Tesla
I have now owned the Gotway Tesla for 2 weeks now and I figured it was about time to write a review. I’ve put about 200 miles on it and in my honest opinion the Tesla is one of the best high to medium end wheels on the market. I use this device as my general commuter vehicle. I’m roughly 220 LB and I get about 24 miles of range so If you weigh somewhere in that range you should expect the same. I have been told that the battery doesn’t fair very when in the cold so that maybe impacting my mileage. I’ve been testing it in temperatures of roughly 28 to 51 degrees Fahrenheit. As for the Build quality I would say that it is a bit fragile, I have dumped it a few times and taken one major spill. Over all I would say that if you did fall at high speeds the plastic that covers the front and back over the handle would not fare well as it is very brittle. So far all I’ve had happen is that the plastic becomes loose and needs to be snapped back into place. It does seem as though Ewheels does ship the tesla with improved side pads for your legs. One of the times I dropped the wheel I noticed had the pads not been larger it would have hit the side of the wheel's plastic. In conclusion I would say that if you are looking into getting a wheel but haven’t owned one before this is a solid choice.

“It is my first wheel. After a couple of days watching numerous videos and practice, I eventually started riding. The wheel feels very comfortable and in spite of it to be a very powerful, it gives you a smooth torque delivery. So you don't feel very jerky. Apart from that, I am happy that my first wheel is almost the top one. So there is no need to upgrade after a few months when you reach the low-cost wheel limits.
The only thing which annoys is a Gotway android app which I installed and used for a day and after Samsung updated my phone it stops working while opening. I hope the Gotway guys fix it soon.
Looking forward to starting riding with ease.”
