I received the Tesla a couple weeks ago and have been riding it daily ever since . I run my two dogs with it . this is my second unicycle my last being maxed at 13mph.. it was nice to run the dogs with it but I prefer to let them go full stride during the run because they're large breeds . anyway the Tesla can handle slowing them down at a stop and fast enough to let them run full stride . now I need to get used to the speed only reaching 25mph so far . haha seems fast enough but so did my last one at 13mph. I've been riding for 4-5yrs now and this ride is very solid , quick , and fast . the larger wheel helps alot for holes/cracks/voids in pavement . I'm surprised there's no Bluetooth or music of any kind but the headlight is nice . footpegs are great and stay up . quiet machine. hills / driveways handicapped ramps not a problem . batteries awesome and lasts . the luggage handle that pulls up works well and tucks in nicely . all around good wheel. pricy but I hope not to grow out of this one so I chose the best .and this is the best inho

I got my Tesla a couple weeks ago and I wanted to write it for a little bit before I gave a review.. I've had an electric unicycle for about four and a half years now this is my second one. I use it to run my dogs every day and go to the store. very strong very stable takes a little getting used to from a starter size cuz it's bigger.. but that's okay.. I've been confined to 13 mile an hour max or my dogs have been I should say. but not anymore.I held this off the ground to see where it would shut off and it went to 64 km h which is about 40 milesann hour . . I weigh a buck ten so I'm thinking I'll get close if my dogs do . which 30mph was the fastest I've gone with them on a skateboard being pulled . . .anyway I love the control I have with the unicycle having brakes and everything but I was stuck at 13 miles an hour or less when the dogs go about 30.. I'm very happy with the stability strength and speed of this and my dogs are very happy to although my older ones going to have to be retrained that he doesn't have to be stuck at 13 miles an hour and the pickup is pace..lol .. well it's time to go run them now actually so ..that's all from me . thanks guys for a faster wheel !

This excellent wheel is like a solid muscle car. It has power, acceleration, speed, range, and loves to go! It is an excellent high performing wheel. It would be nice to have a better app like the Solowheel/ Inmotion wheels.

I am in love with my Tesla. I previously owned a Gotway msuper which had a speed up to 22mph. After becoming expert rider I realized I need to go faster and bought the Tesla which is just as they advertise, which is 30 mph cruising speed. Yes it goes faster too but 30 mph is fast enough for most everyone. I'm a truck driver and ride my Tesla any chance I get. I highly reccomend this wheel over all others. You won't be disappointed.

The Gotway Tesla is a fantastic wheel. So I thought that I would share my experience with it. I used this wheel on a daily basis to/from work over about 8 months. It handles like it should. + Excellent acceleration, highest production model top speed. + Up hill climbs are great, a little speed reduction which is expected. I've gone up a 28 degree hill with it just fine. + This wheel preforms best at 38-40 PSI instead of the 45 PSI it lists on the tire. + The internal collapsible trolly handle is great but loses its stiffness over time. + The weight of the wheel might be too much for some. It is about 40 LBS. + The wheel can be used as a workout weight + Pedals are grip tape. They work well even when wet. + Auto off feature, (if you lay the wheel down on its side while its on, it will beep then be put into a 'standby mode' where the wheel doesn't turn but the device is still on. and resumes when you stand it back up. This is great for if you need to step away for a moment. + Bright and Brighter headlight. + Excellent battery life +/- The wheel has a usb port so you can charge your phone. But this only works when the unit is on. - The apps. Gotway never really got around to improving the android version of their app and there are multiple version by multiple people and each one has different settings. It took me way too long with too much effort to unlock the top speed. Which leads to... - Top speed. 37 + MPH. Locked at 20 MPH until you can unlock it with an app. (But you have to figure out which one works, I tried them all at once and know not all of them worked) - Flimsy casing attachment points for the side panels. Other wheels have strong attachment points that are resistant to fall damage. On this particular wheel it has 6 tiny screws with tiny screw brackets. If the tiny screw bracket snaps, you have to replace the shell or fashion a makeshift one. - Foam pads. These pads hurt, a lot. It actually feels more comfortable to ride without them for me. - The back side of the wheel gets scratched up by the little rocks the tire grabs. If trying to keep your wheel clean and damage free, this would cause issue. - No rear tail light.
