Inmotion V10/V10F, 960Wh Battery/2000W Motor Reviews

5 Rating 37 Reviews
Love this V10F first time rider learning on this was a pleasure took a lot of beatings after two hours finally got the hang of it and boy that’s when you realize you’re riding a Royals Royce very comfortable very nimble and love the Bluetooth speakers put it on loud so Cars can hear me love the light Effects on the side of the V10. No problem with the handle works like a charm only gripe is the foot pedals they are a bit slippery so I ordered their upgrade with the grip tape instead of the rubber rubber slips a lot.

Having ridden the Glide 3 for 8 months as a daily commuter, I am particularly stricken by what a perfect hop-up the V10F is from the V8/Glide 3. The extra tire width strengthens its grip on the pavement, the over-engineered 2000w motor limited to 25mph gives me the confidence at higher speeds and in hard acceleration / stops I was looking for without fretting over a possible fried control board. I expected to dislike the external handle as a result of other reviewers referring to it feeling cheap, though I honestly don’t feel the telescoping handle feels much better... there’s an equal amount of play room in both versions, IMO. Extended battery life and improved LEDs are just icing on the cake. Looking forward to packing on some mileage!

It’s a fantastic middle-grounder — fast and powerful, but not too much so. Substantial, but not too heavy. Equally capable on-road or off. Love it.

I purchased the V10 (frome ewheels.com) about 8 months ago and learned to ride it over a period of days in 15 minute sessions. I'm 53 and have done many outdoor sports and this experience is the most freeing (though riding, strictly speaking, isn't a sport). I agree with other purchasers. The wheel is reliable, well designed physically and from the control system perspective. I especially like the leg pad design. If the foot paddles are wet, it gets slippery, but generally, they work very well. The only improvements I could recommend would be in the InMotion app, but that is irrelevant to the experience of riding.

What an INCREDIBLY smooth ride this thing gives. I am brand new to eWheels in general, but it took just a half hour to get the basics down; I chalk that up to a pretty darn good dynamics algorithm. Acceleration is gentle, nullifies instabilities very well, and on low battery it still hums along just fine. I weigh a bit more than average, and I'm getting around 44 miles of range out of this (including heavy starts and stops, gentle hills and some unpaved roads). The quality of this thing is amazing.

I love the my InMotion V10F, I love the overengineered power of the 2000 watt motor and have faith that this will will last much longer than comparable wheels because of the overengineering. The range is nowhere near 62 miles. I live in Seattle and weigh 200 lbs and plan to use 25 miles as my range estimate based on my research from other V10F owners until my experience teaches me that I can go further. This includes not draining the battery below 20% because I know that is bad for the battery. I rode my V10F up a 4 block long steep hill and it accelerated while going up with no problems. If you are going to do long hill climbs with 3000 feet of vertical this wheel can struggle as I have seen in a couple YouTube videos but bear in mind that the v10F is being torchered in these videos and other wheels have their failures to. I am confident that my V10f can climb the nasty hills we have around Seattle but that if I want to climb a mountain that there are better EUCs for that. This wheel weighs 46 lbs. When you pick it up, it's heavy. The V10F was engineered with protections to help not fry the board. With the 2000 watt motor it could easily go 30 to 35 mph. I don't want to become one with the pavement at 35 mph and and am glad the wheel will save me from myself by limiting me to 25 mph. A downside is that when I come off the wheel while learning to ride it skittered away before turning itself off. This is something that other wheels are better at. Other EUCs are know for better braking than the V10F, I have found the brakes to be fine for me. I love the big foot plates. Some reviewers have talked about slipping off but I stick like glue. Shifting my feet while riding is hard for me because I stick so well, even when my feet are wet. Your mileage may very. There is a grip tape conversion kit on eBay that (at this time) I do not plan to buy. Safety: Wear elbow, wrist, knee guards and a helmet ... Hindsight is 20/20, better safe than sorry.
