“First EUC. Took 2 days to learn. 1 week to max out speed. 2 weeks to take myy dog on runs with it. 3 weeks to crash at top speed and smash it to smithereens. 2 weeks to get parts, 1 day to rebuild. Lifetime of new hobby.”
“This is a dream come true, as my first wheel I am unable to compare with others. Learning to ride was a solid challenge with the weight. First few hours of interaction were awkward and a bit painful with not knowing how to ride or manage the weight. After a week I'm cruising around town and to work. The device has been dropped MANY times and everything outside of the protective bumper and pedals are perfect. Disassembly and repair looks to be as simple as I hoped. Learning on this wheel is possible but if I had the option I'd”
“There is nothing "short" I can say about this wheel. I can't wait to learn to go offroading with this little guy and rip through the trails! The wheel floats as I ride and it's perfect.”
“Absolutely the BEST PEV/EUC buying experience EVER!
I recently purchased the Inmotion V14 Adventure EUC from eWheels and couldn't be more pleased with the process.
The shipping was lightning-fast, and the packaging was incredibly secure, ensuring the EUC arrived in perfect condition.
We have purchased Hyper-scooters whose boxes were half-mangled when we received them, so don't take good packaging for granted.
The Inmotion V14 Adventure is the appropriate EUC for the Colorado Rockies where we live.
Unfortunately, we encountered a battery issue that we couldn't resolve through remote support. However, eWheels stepped up to the plate and went above and beyond.
They promptly arranged for the unit to be returned, diagnosed the problem, and repaired it quickly.
The EUC was back in my hands before I knew it, working flawlessly. At 215 lbs and semi-aggressive riding, I'd estimate my range to be 40 miles.
I cannot overstate how impressed I am with eWheels' customer service and dedication to customer satisfaction.
Jason and the team turned a potentially frustrating situation into a seamless and positive experience.
If you're considering buying a PEV or EUC online, look no further than eWheels. They are, without a doubt, the ONLY place you should trust with your purchase.
Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to their customers are truly unmatched.
Thank you, eWheels, for an outstanding experience!
And thank you for an excellent wheel!”
Hi Jay, thank you for your review. It's our pleasure to be able to help in situations like this, our goal is to keep you rolling, whatever it takes :) Glad you're enjoying the V14, stay safe and enjoy the ride!
“I've been extremely happy with this purchase. It's my first "big wheel"though so I only have my KS14S to compare it to. I paid the comparatively more expensive price because it seemed like this had everything out-of-the-box and haven't been disappointed with the headlight, seat, etc. It's mainly a commuter for my uses but I have some dirt road and trail almost everywhere I go. I just did a 43 mile trip (mostly around 20-25 mph on urban trails) almost literally around town and still had 36% battery left. The frame for the shock also serves as a good place to lock it up in public when necessary. All to say, it seems to cover all the things I was looking for and I'm also looking forward to the easier maintenance when the time comes. Really the only negative is the heavy charger as I had seen in reviews before I purchased. I have packed it a couple times just in case and it's definitely a brick. Now that I know I have enough range I'll be leaving it at home as much as possible.”
Hi Kevin, thanks for your review! The V14 is definitely a nice upgrade over the 14S, glad to hear it's checking all the boxes for you. Stay safe and happy riding :)
“It's time for my ebike to take a back seat. I had no intentions on ever owning an electric unicycle. For the past couple of years I have been riding a very nice and expensive $10,000 ebike from specialized. For the past few months though it has been at the dealer for a motor issue.
I like not having to rely on a car and so I started getting impatient and looking for alternative means of transportation while my bike was being fixed. I tried a couple of scooters, but they just didn't work for me. Too unstable, not enough range, and bulky.
Ultimately, and really by accident, I found an ad for a used V5 for cheap and thought what the heck, I might as well give it a try. I learned how to ride it, and it became second nature really quickly, and so I started to set my sights on something with more power and range. Ultimately I decided on a v14.
I bought this through ewheels because they had a really good website, and they made it easy for me to feel confident about what I was buying.
I got the wheel 2 days later, unboxed it, and thought immediately, what the heck did I just do? It was huge and intimidating and heavy and for 2 days I literally just stared at it thinking I am never going to ride this. It is beyond my capability.
I started practicing by balancing on it while holding on to something else and just trying to feel the weight under me. It was terrifying to let go of the wall, but I did finally. Over and over again I would try to ride and then the wheel would fall toward one side or another and just take me on a journey that I didn't want to go on. I sent an email to e wheels asking if anything bad could happen by taking two battery packs off to lighten the wheel and make learning to ride it easier.
Unlike most companies, I got an almost immediate reply with a stern message of no, do not do this, and a positive message of keep practicing and you will get this. I sent a couple of other emails over the next few weeks with other various questions and got the same detailed attention and quick replies.
I started to look around for lighter, more beginner friendly unicycles, both new and used, because I just really felt like this was never going to work for me. But I did keep practicing.
Unbelievably, it's been just over a month now, and I'm comfortable enough now to ride it everywhere and and am even using it on my commute to work. I started off by setting the speed limit to 20 miles per hour, but have gotten so comfortable so quickly that it's now set for 30, and I will probably be increasing it even more sooner than later I believe.
I'm so happy now that I didn't settle for a more beginner friendly wheel because I would've been hitting the speed limits already, and would have been wanting more and feeling limited by my choice. This wheel has become very easy to control, and I look forward every day to riding and learning.
My reasons for wanting this wheel is because it fits the range of what I would have expected to ride per day, which is about fifty miles total, and it has a pretty good top speed, but nothing too crazy. It is much more compact than my ebike, and so I can easily take it onto a bus or the metro train. The suspension soaks up potholes and bad roads as if they are smooth and new. Los Angeles streets are pretty beat up for the most part typically. This same capability will allow me to take fire roads and light off roading tracks such as the fullerton loop and other places that I have rode with my e- bike, though most of my time on this wheel will be for commuting.
This V14 adventure feels strong and well built. It goes faster than my e-bike, and it is more nimble and can handle rougher terrain.
In learning, I have tumbled this wheel more times than there are miles on it I believe. Except for a small piece of the front fairing breaking off, which is really just cosmetic and not a worry, there hasn't been any damage of note to the wheel in any way. It has went from being intimidating and terrifying to becoming nimble and an extension of my body.
I'm so appreciative of the e wheels team, their excellent website, their amazing customer service, and the love and support that they have given me as their customer.
Even when I get my e-bike back, this will be my main form of transportation, except for when I need to haul things like groceries.
It's amazing that something this capable can be had so cheaply.”
