King Song 16X 1554Wh Battery/2200W Motor, 3" Wide Tire Reviews

4.9 Rating 101 Reviews
It's been a great wheel. I do have one major issue now that I need addressed (The only reason I didn't give it less stars was because I've had it for a long time and it's been flawless up till now) My issue is that the lift sensor isn't registering when I set the wheel down. It does not reengage the wheel. I have to either turn the wheel off or, sometimes, if I wait 20 to 30 seconds it might reengage eventually. I haven't been able to find anyone online who understands this problem. I would love some help if anyone has a tip!

Just received my first wheel and I am so excited. I got the KS 16x and wow this is so much fun. I am 6' 1" and 185lb and this thing handles me no problem. I couldn't ride outside for 3 days after it arrived due to rain so the best I could do was shoot back and forward through my hallway. Yesterday, however, was my first real ride. At first, I was a little wobbly but within 10 minutes or so I was doing laps around the park near my house on the street. It was so fun but I kept getting the 12 mph speed warning that I was going too fast. This drove me crazy so I stayed on it until I put on 10 miles then set the max speed to 25mph. It is awesome.

Glad you're enjoying the 16X! It's one of the most tried and true offerings, a great starter wheel for this wonderful hobby. The learning curve is usually 2-3 weeks, you must be a natural. Make sure you're always geared up, you never know what might happen. Enjoy the faster speeds, and let us know if you ever plan to upgrade!

The tires are already large enough for an EUC, and the shock absorption effect is also significant. The strength of the motor is also very high, and acceleration and deceleration can be quickly reflected.

Our 16X is fitted with a 16x3" H666 tire, one of the best stock options. We also include an upgraded 2.5A charger as well. While not a suspension wheel, the machine does handle bumps quite well with the added suspension from your bent knees. It's a perfect machine for beginners!

Amazing, I love the ride, the great quality audio and the light show. A head-turner and I've become proficient in it quite quickly...feels natural and powerful for a larger guy like myself. The trolley handle works well, headlight is well-aimed and bright. The pedals are pretty loose and flop around if not secured by the magnet at the top. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Since support for the Z10 is practically nil in the US, I planned to replace mine if it ever developed a problem. It did. While I absolutely love the Z10, it was time for something new. I settled on the King Song 16X. It's mature technology that's nearly as old as the Z10 yet apparently well supported in the US, and I believe it was intended to compete with the Z10 which it does admirably. It has a larger 2,200 watt motor but a smaller 16 inch tire. For me at least, that combination makes it as responsive as the Z10. It was a very easy to transition from the Z10 to the 16X. For me and the kind of riding I do, it's a good fit. I miss the Z10's four inch wide tubeless tire. And even though it's not a concern for me, I appreciate that the Z10 is rated for heavier riders. But other than that I think the 16X holds its own against the Z10 and is in many ways superior. It looks great, works like a champ and is a lot of fun to ride. What more can you ask?

The kingsong 16xs is the fast as fuck and incredibly durable. I crashed it(my fault) going 24mph and it was completely fine

Amazingly balanced wheel. The 16X is bulletproof. After 100 falls, it's still kicking. Probably one of the best built EUCs ever. High recommend as your first or beginner wheel. You will learn to ride an EUC with this wheel and have no worries.

The ks16xs is my first euc, and I absolutely love it. It has been a pleasure to learn to ride and I usually go around 20 miles on rides and 6 miles round trip to work. I do think I will be selling my ebike for a suspension wheel eventually. I'm hooked. I may install a second battery, but I can still get 30 miles without getting too limited. It is a very good value wheel.
