“I got the KS16XS as my first wheel. I decided on this model instead of the KS16X to make sure I had money to get safety gear (super important). It works great and would definitely recommend! Sometimes I think if I got a smaller wheel it might have been easier to learn on but I was up and going in about an hour. I take it off road and on dirt roads often and it works great. The Kingsong app is rough so I used DarknessBot instead for all my stats. This was worth $1500 hands down.”
“I’m about an hour into practicing to ride this wheel. It is my first one and I have been practicing at a local park in the grass so if I crash it’s no big deal. I was able to ride it a full 6 miles on Chicago’s lakefront path and this thing is so smooth and fun to ride. The range is great and it is a very powerful wheel. I’m addicted and I cannot wait to use it in my daily commute!”
“I love the look and quality of the wheel, however the quality of the tire it came mounted on is subpar and lessens the experience I am having with this. Even after 150 miles of riding the tire still wobbles and has a high spot, I’ve tried multiple methods of a balancing and making sure it’s even on the wheel but it does not help despite my attempts. But I do still enjoy riding this wheel”
“I have about 200 miles now on my 16x. Great move up from a 14D. the 16x is very nimble and a champ at hill climbing. I'm impressed with some of the hills I've been able to climb with this thing. I can't wait for a San Francisco trip, Zero doubts this wheel can tackled all the hills that city has with ease.”
“At first I didn’t like the KS 16X, but after getting the tire pressure right and installing some side pads, I love this wheel, very smooth and powerful.”
“This is my first EUC. I didn't want something that I would grow out of quickly and wanted something powerful enough to move my 200lbs without complaint. This delivers. The 2.5 amp charger that ewheels includes with the 16x is great. 8ish hours to charge and considering the range will be more than adequate for my needs. 4 days into my EUC journey and I feel comfortable to ride it around my city and to work without issue. No hard falls yet, but I haven't pushed speed and am very cautious just trying to continue to get used to it. The ewheels wrist guards seem adequate (haven't had to test them thankfully) and are a much appreciated free bonus.”
