“Being new to this sport and 68 years old it took a few days to start to get the hang of how to control the wheel. But after practicing, control and speed is much better. The wheel seems very responsive, with good acceleration and breaking. I am very pleased with this wheel and would suggest it to others.”
“This is my first euc, and as a beginner I am very satisfied with the 16X. I like everything about it. The headlights are excellent, it has very good Bluetooth speakers, and the 3 inch tires are very stable at low speeds.”
“First wheel and could not be happier with this purchase! Has Everything I wanted in an electric unicycle. It’s perfect for a starter I think cause it doesn’t go crazy fast but it’s perfect to learn on, get comfortable with the speed, and enjoy a smooth ride!”
“This was my first wheel. Jack of all but master of none. Decent range and respectable top speed. Excellent build quality. This thing has great torque, you really have to dig deep to get the overpower warning. I would recommend this wheel to anyone looking to get into EUC's. Customer service through Ewheels is also stellar!!”
“I just received my first EUC, the KS16X and it's incredible. No prior experience and I pulled it out of the box and was up in running around the neighborhood like a newbie pro. Absolutely addictive sport and I can't wait for the adventures that will certainly follow. Everything about this wheel looks top quality and at 200lbs it appears to have enough power and range to get me places. Cheers to Jason and Drew for recommending this wheel for me.”
“The KS16X is my first EUC in this weight and speed class. I have 2 months prior riding experience on a hand me down, old IPS 191 lhotz that died suddenly. I have had the 16X for about a week and have ridden 30 miles so far (15 miles on wet roads in light rain). The 16X feels solid with good acceleration. I am in my 40's, 5'10" tall, weigh 175lb, and started riding the EUC in the hard (firm) ride mode setting as I feel I have more control of the wheel opposed to riding in the medium or soft riding modes. The 16X turns on a dime and the 3" wide wheel is not a restriction. As other KS16X owners have mentioned, it feels like the wheel can fight you at times in order to stay upright, it wants to carve, and it handles hills beautifully. I like riding at night and the 5W high beam light is great and lights up the road. I plan on riding 75% pavement and 25% off road with the 16X. I have not had any sourness in my calves/knees/etc. in my first 30miles as I anticipated moving to a 50lb EUC. I will be upgrading my protective gear before pushing the higher end capabilities of acceleration and speed of the KS16X. I also bought a rapid charger and cover for the 16X and recommended both to others. I am happy with the 16X and it does feel and look well built. I do have two non-performance complaints about the wheel (suggestions for improvement). #1, the tire valve stem is placed in the worst position and requires using needle nose pliers or other tools to move around the valve stem to fill the tire with air (it is a real pain to hassle with). #2, when the retractable handle is fully extended to trolley the wheel around it is extremely loose and flimsy and I expected much better firmness. Overall, I suggest the KS16X to others.”
“I come from a KS16S, in which I learned to ride, Just received my new KS16X yesterday for christmas, my own gift; the KS16X is a world apart, way better, very comfortable, and responsive, I would say, you have to gain new musclue memory, related to "an odd feeling", mainly when making sharp turns, I guess is something typical to adaptation to a new wheel, nothing to worryng, furthermore, it feels very stable and smooth”
