My KS16X arrived today for Christmas! Unfortunately, it's raining very hard right now, therefore. too sad. however, I already unlocked it, and made a firmware upgrade, everything seems to be working fine, trolley hand seems to be a bit loosely at the end poit, but I will check later. Thanks Jason, & Merry Christmas!!

This wheel is a tank! It powers up any hill and can take a beating. I picked the 16x for reliability and I'm glad I did.

AMAZING MACHINE!! I was looking for my first Euc. Emailed ewheels with some questions to help narrow down my options. Spoke to drew regarding what I was looking for and he steered me in the right direction. I ended up getting the 16x as my first Euc purchase and it was absolutely the right choice. It is very stable, agile, good acceleration, torque and plenty of battery life. Easy wheel to start out on. I was off and riding in 35min having never ridden one before. The machine does everything you ask it to do with no issues at all. The wide tire goes over all terrain smoothly. No problem riding this wheel on the street/side walk or on / off curbs. Love the lights on it for night rides they are vibrant and you definitely stand out. Speakers are loud enough that people hear you coming, allowing them ample time to move over. Speakers are also loud enough to hear your speed alarms and decelerate warnings. I Recommend this wheel to anyone starting out in EUC riding. The price may discourage some people but rest assured you will NOT regret your purchase. As a beginner you will grow into this wheel and as your skills/ abilities improve you will find that the 16x is very versatile. As for accessories get the protective neoprene cover to protect the shell as you learn to ride and I recommend the studded pedals for a solid grip in all situations. (Stock grip tape left me feeling there was something more to be desired here) Thank you drew for putting the 16x on my radar. I love this thing.

I've owned this wheel now for 7 months and have about 500 miles on it. If I wasn't married and somewhat house-bound during this pandemic I would undoubtedly have a couple thousand miles on it instead! It's my first wheel and I'm totally hooked. I am a larger rider at 6' 7", 210 pounds, and size 14 feet and have had no issues. I keep my speed below 28mph to give me extra cushion on the battery. This wheel has overall been fantastic. It is incredibly smooth to ride and works great both on road and off road. It only took me a few days to learn to ride. It has very nice acceleration and deceleration, and moves fluidly like an extension of your body. Carving turns feels downright dreamy. I have felt zero pedal-dip. Taking off-road trails leaves me with perma-smile. The trolley handle is fantastic for going into stores or maneuvering in crowded areas. It moves up and down effortlessly, and even at my height is completely comfortable to steer around. I've never felt out of control with it. Makes running errands a breeze (indeed, I have found myself running way more errands than I should be ;). I tested an MSP the other day and was stunned at how bad the trolley handle was in comparison. I definitely wish the top speed was higher. I do find myself routinely running into the beeps. At constant high speed it can also sometimes feel a little squirrely. It prefers to carve turns than blast down the straightaways. I expect I will be buying a faster 18 incher for a second wheel, but I think this will be an addition to my collection rather than a replacement for my 16x as it is just too great as a city commuter (I live in Chicago). Speakers are quite loud, but at anything over 25mph become tough to hear. I've started using a Bose Micro Soundlink instead. It's much easier to ride with as I attach the speaker just below my helmet. Lighting is excellent. Great visibility at night. For Range I am getting about 30 miles riding it hard (constantly 24-28mph with hard acceleration/deceleration). I expect I could get much better if I took it easy, but riding fast is just too much fun. Charging times are great with a fast charger, just a few hours. The only real cons I can think of are the water/dust-proofing. I've personally never run into issues, but after opening up the wheel several months into use, it was quite dirty. I do not ride it in the rain just to be safe. Alert/warning beeps are tough to hear at high speeds (although I don't have the best hearing). The only other issue I have encountered was the wheel took a small tumble after I rode it off a curb. Afterwards it would no longer balance and was making a terrible noise. I contacted ewheels and Jason walked me through a number of tests before determining it was a bad motherboard. He sent me a new one fedex, and I was back up and running in just a few days. I have had zero issues since. Ewheels definitely has my confidence. The wheel and the company are both highly recommended :D

This is my 2nd Kingson & I'm amazed at both the quality and performance of these wheels. I upgraded to this 16X because my 14D wasn't fast enough. I am thrilled with the speed & agility of this 16X. Jason at ewheels was very professional & helpful as usual. I really think ewheels is THE place to buy electric devices. This is my 3rd purchase from Jason and I have an mten3 on backorder! Very attentive to both detail and customer service. I trust him & this company.

I got the 16Xs as my first wheel. It is pretty fun to ride and to learn on. Because my 12 year old and me were having such a blast we wanted to get a second wheel. For that one I got the 18XL. Choosing between the two, as a 6'4" 220lb, I would definitely go with the 18XL. Nothing wrong with the 16Xs, just the bigger size is a lot more comfortable for me. The 18XL has a little bit less acceleration, but the tradeoff is worth it. Also, the bigger battery is key. As it turns out, my 85lb son on the 16Xs battery (which is half the size of the 18XL) gets around the same range. So all is all, I'm happy with what I ended up with, but if I was going to just get one, I'd get the 18XL.

The 16x has been a blast to ride, Living in San Francisco and carving the hills on the streets has been epic. I am 195 pounds, I guess you could say a heavier rider, but the 16x doesn't care. It takes me to 28 mph on the flats and at a solid speed up most hills in SF. The speaker is pretty loud and fairly crisp. Battery is a luxury I never think about it when riding, BIG range. My first EUC and experience on one, so I dont know how the handling compares to other EUCS that being said, It handles awesome, going downhill on it feels similar to a snowboard shredding fresh powder. The Bad: 3 months later..Currently undergoing some issues with the EUC last week, acceleration has seemed to not be as good as before and the balance is a little harder I would describe. I have contacted Ewheels support and Hopefully will get it back and running normally soon. Conclusion: Its a great wheel and has plenty of power and excellent control with a big battery. Hope this has helped if you read it haha.
