King Song S16 PRO, 1,480Wh Battery/3,000W Motor (6KW Peak) CST C-131 Off-road/Hybrid Reviews

4.7 Rating 11 Reviews
A great all around wheel, I’m 65 and been riding for 9 years, the S16 pro is a great all around wheel, I ride on and off road equally and it performs well, has good torque and distance and the weight is manageable (not getting any younger lol) The only problem is the trolley handle which is an open design so dirt gets into it making it stick and the front handle should be solid but is 2 pieces and hollow. Other than that I’ve put on 600 miles so far and it has performed excellent. (My typical ride is 20-40 miles at 15-20 mph)I also had to change the inner tube and was not bad to do. Winter is closing in up here in Northern NH but a few days left to ride. I will be tearing it down, cleaning and seeing what wore out.

To keep it brief: First wheel. Kind of intimidating compared to other cute, round, beginner wheels. That said, on the first ride was able to mount and go for a bit in my bumpy/hilly backyard. I think this will be a great commuter wheel once I get the hang of it.

Very fun and zippy wheel. It's stable and nimble even at 72 lbs heavy. However, I bought two S16 Pro and both have a tire scraping noise out of the box. There's room for improvement in the quality department.

I am a first time EUC rider. I have had the S16 PRO for about 2 weeks now and it's still in beginner mode with a max speed of 12.5 mph and slow acceleration. I've been having a blast riding around the yard with some obstacles to work on my skills. What I am liking (about EUCs) is that there is plenty to learn and get good at, although I understand that this may may be frustrating for some. I am trying to learn seated riding, riding backwards and the pendulum. I am admittedly not great at anything but I am making progress here and there. The S16 PRO seems like a good beginner wheel that you can grow into. I would still pick this wheel today, it ticks a lot of boxes for the price. The only problem that I have had with the wheel is a few sharp edges that I cut myself on while trying to catch it. I modded the wheel by filing them down :)

Wheel works great. I would suggest putting a list of directions in the box for the settings. We still have not figured out where to change it to MPH and where to unlock the speed from 40KMH.

This was my first EUC purchase. Ewheels sent it out next day and it arrived the day after! (Less than 48 hours after purchase, awesome! I live in Northern California) I don’t have anything to compare it to, but this thing is amazing. After about 3-4 hours of practice, I’m flying around my neighborhood. It was a little heavier than I expected and made learning a bit tougher for me, but once you’re up and going it really helps with balance. The app that it comes with could use some work, it works but it’s not that intuitive especially if you’re just learning what everything is. Overall: Ewheels- awesome. King song s16 pro- awesome. I would definitely recommend both to anybody!

Hi Max, thank you for the review! The S16 is a great first wheel, not too pricey compared to other offerings and more than powerful enough to provide lots of fun. Stay safe and enjoy the ride :)
