“Even in 2022 this wheel is king. I enjoy my V11, but it’s pretty unwieldy and cumbersome to take around. But this 18XL is absolutely perfect for the city. Easy to ship, tight and responsive, quicker accelerating. It handles like a big V8 or 16S.
In my opinion, it’s best enjoyed without side pads; just to enjoy the huge pedals. Feels like you’re floating on a surfboard across the greenways.”
