“I've had the KS 18XL for about 6 months now, and I gotta say, this thing is an absolute blast to ride around town. It took about ~16 hours of practice to get the hang of it (I spent the first couple days riding with the tire deflated to 14 PSI, which made riding it more difficult). Once I inflated it to the proper 32 - 35 PSI, the whole riding process clicked, and I can cruise around at 16 MPH effortlessly. Be sure to always wear a good helmet while riding, just in case something goes wrong, or you hit a pothole! (And it's recommended to wear knee and shin guards, and wrist guards). For reference, I am about 6 foot 7 inches, 190 pounds, with size 16 shoes, and I feel like the foot pedals are pretty comfortable to stand on for 20 - 30 minutes at a time (provided that you have some decent insoles in your shoes), and the posted specs about battery charge and distance seem pretty accurate to me (I'll go for a 5 mile ride, and it will only drain less than 10% of the battery). There are three relevant apps (on the Google Play Store) that you'll want to check out. The best one is called "EUC World", and then there's the "WheelLog" app, and the manufacturer's "Kingsong" app (which is roughly translated from Chinese, and the app is kinda wonky). You'll want to pair these with your KS 18XL to monitor the battery percentage, current speed, maximum speed limit thresholds, and for playing (streaming) music to the electric unicycle via Bluetooth.”
“Amazing, I'm somehow even more excited about the 18xl than I was initially. Your guys input is definitely valued and helpful each time. I'm reassured in that I was given the opportunity to consider other newer high performance wheels and this one proves every bit as relevant. In the end, I decided to go with the XL for these reasons: Range; In it's price range it seems to be the longest provided range amongst even newer wheels. Comfort; Everyone talks about it's comfort level. Dependability; Based on Jason and Drew's input amongst many YT EUC reviews, this is a solid reliable machine that's withstood the test of at least a year's time.
