“The Gotway msx pro is a great electric unicycle for all terrain. You can easily got to 30-35 mph comfortably. I have three issues with this wheel. One, the wheel should have more padding options for ankle and legs for better control and comfort. I often need to make my own pads that affect the pedal from staying closed. The other issue is with the trolly handle. The trolly is difficult to control the wheel. I think if the trolly was more to the center of the wheel it would be great. Sometimes cut off scares me from going the speeds I’d like to go. When In comes down to the over all review. The MSP is a fantastic wheel to cruise on and have a good time. More resolved issues and higher speeds should be coming in the future. Currently I believe that this is the best riding wheel you can get.”
“I've had a V10F, V8F, MTen3, 16X, and Nik+, and this MSP is the smoothest, strongest, and most stable one of the bunch. Off-road clearance and torque is also superior!”
“I’ve had the opportunity to ride nearly every EUC on the market today and have owned many. To date, the MSP favorite wheel. I love the 18” x 3” tire as it rolls smoothly over most road irregularities but is still small enough to be very agile. I like to ride somewhat fast and carve a lot and the 100V, 2000w motor has the power to pull it off smoothly and give me enough top end room that I’m not worrying about cutouts when pushing 35+ mph. This wheel is very fast! I like the new 21700 LG battery packs and the wheel feels very balanced side to side. I’m getting about 20%-25% more range compared to my Nikola 1600wh. The headlights are super bright and the stereo sounds nice and is fairly loud, although it sounds better to the person following just behind you. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase and highly recommend this wheel.”
“I have ridden around 800 miles on my msx 84v on offroad trails and bmx tracks. I brought my new msp to the trail that I've ridden countless times on my 84v and oh man what a difference. Rooster tail of dirt going up wet hills, no power loss, no "ridin the grunt" and monstrous power. The tire does way better in mud than the 84v stock tire. It can grip pavement more than I'm use to and feel "wobbly", but the tire has more aggressive tread on each side. Overall the extra power makes it feel like an actual dirtbike offroad compared to a stock 84v.”
“Coming from my Nikola 84v this was a solid upgrade--faster, slightly more range, and the 18" tire is an unexpectedly substantial improvement for negotiating bad roads.
Not all pluses--trolley is bad, spin kill button is so-so. Ergonomics are a step down, but nothing a bit of extra padding can't fix. It's also a bit less agile, but I'm satisfied trading that for speed and stability.
The negatives are buried as soon as you put the pedal down. The power this has on tap is ridiculous. I can launch faster than my Mten3, I don't think I'll ever be brave enough to figure out the limits of the wheel.
Outside of the trolley, most of the rough spots are easy to mitigate. The Nikola is still a great wheel, but between the two I'm solidly in the MSP camp.”
“This wheel is awesome. Like any other wheel there is a learning curve. This wheel is a huge step up from the solowheel glide 3 aka inmotion v8. This will be a great off road wheel. Just make sure you gear up.”
