i spent a ton of time researching trying to decide on the perfect first wheel. it only took a 10 minute conversation with ewheels to make my decision and put my order in. i ordered friday afternoon and had it that sunday. did not expect it that soon. this is a 5 star purchase in every way. great customer service. super fast shipping. great price. top quality product. i am glad i went with a larger first wheel. although i believe i would be more skilled by now had i started on something smaller and lighter, i fully believe i would have grown out of a beginner wheel way too quickly. i have it wrapped with foam and duct tape to minimize learning damage so no worries there. i was concerned about banging up an "expensive" wheel but that is a not an issue. if you are looking to buy a first wheel dont be afraid to get what you really want unless you plan to buy multiple models.

TLDR; the 100v is a small motorcycle disguised as a last-mile commuter. Treat it with respect and it might be the only wheel you need. In fact it's so powerful, new riders might want to look elsewhere. ~~~~ I've been riding wheels for almost 5 years now, the first of which I purchased by wiring money to a factory in China. (New riders have no idea how lucky they are to have Jason). My dream for electric unicycles was always to be able to ride wherever I wanted. Early wheels simply weren't powerful enough to handle technical trails, or when they became more powerful you ran into build issues like axle failures, splitting shells, dead batteries, and fried motherboards. The first wheel I owned that somewhat lifted those limitations was the 67v ACM, but the limited battery (820Wh at the time) and the relative lack of torque made you constantly aware of the wheel's limitations. I rode mine about 3000 miles before I sold it to a new rider. The 84v 1600Wh ACM was better, with more torque and a top speed that could begin to keep up with traffic, but the extra weight necessitated a bolt-on trolley handle that had to be taped or glued to stay in place. Also the pedals and shell had very low clearance and often scraped rocks on the trails I wanted to ride. It was clear the ACM was never meant to be that "go anywhere" wheel I was looking for. The MSuper line always interested me but always seemed to be wrought with issues. I tried an MSuper V3S+ shortly before the MSX was announced, and while it felt very powerful it felt more like a mini-Monster cruiser than a true go-anywhere machine. I tried an early MSX at a group ride and instantly fell in love with the elevated and aggressively sloped pedals. The wider tire made it easier to ride at slower speeds and it ate up road unlike anything I'd ever ridden. I was hooked. I purchased my 84v 1600Wh MSX around November 2018, and it was the wheel that made me sell all of my others. It had insane power, relative reliability, a decently rugged shell, and a wonderful top speed safety buffer. The MSX is the only wheel I've ridden that reflects stream-of-consciousness movement. When Gotway announced the 100v MSX I wasn't interested due to the smaller battery. I felt like I didn't need the extra speed and range wasn't worth a tradeoff in speed. So when the 1860Wh version was announced it became a very easy decision. The difference between 84v and 100v? The 84v is nothing to sneeze at, with plenty of speed and low-end torque. It's heavy enough to break your shins and destroy property. However...the 100v is the first wheel that truly reaches into small dirt bike territory. I actually don't detect a difference in low-end torque between the two models, just a lower center of gravity on the 100v that requires a more aggressive lean. Over 25mph however, is where the 100v really starts to stretch its legs. The acceleration ramps up closer to a small motorcycle, and it just doesn't stop. I DO NOT recommend any MSX as a first wheel. An MCM5, V10F, 16X, etc are already more than enough to hurt yourself with. Low-speed practice is much more essential (and much harder!) than top-end speed when you're starting out and you gain a different type of confidence that helps in every riding scenario. However, if you're decently experienced and feel like you could ride in your sleep, I'd ride the MSX into the sunset and never look back.

I really love the MSX! It feels so locked in and gives me a new level of confidence due to its responsiveness and stability, while still being nimble enough for everyday use. I already have 2 onewheels and wanted to add an EUC to the fleet. This was the one for me! Unbelievable machine and so much fun to ride. Power, speed and range for days! If you’re only going to have one EUC then you should really consider the MSX. I’ve tried a bunch of wheels and the MSX just feels like such an extension of my body and I mesh with it very well.

Awesome power and very easy to ride. I would gladly recommend this wheel to newbies and experienced riders alike. It is amazing to ride and is smooth and with the large pedals from Ewheels, it is easy to ride for a long distance.

Got the new 100v 1845Wh MSX wheel after looking seriously at the KS 16X and 84v MSX. It is my 1st wheel. I have ridden regular unicyles and hoverboards previously and I was off and riding this thing in under 5 minutes with no instruction. I haven't downloaded the app, so have been limited to about 14 mph. 2 hours in with no crashes, I gotta say I'm loving it! Now I have to box it up and wrap it for Christmas before my wife finds out I've been riding it!

I’m giving it 4 stars because of the handle but for the support aspect is 5 stars. As I was trying to contact jason he immediately replied through email and even called me bacause I had a little issue with the pedals. The wheel is powerful and could eat potholes then any other wheel that I have ridden. I would really reccomend this wheel especially for of road because I live in NYC and I work in brooklyn, everyday I ride through those moon crater streets and feels like cushion now. This is really a nice wheel.

The Gotway MSuper X lives up to its reputation as the elite performance wheel. While lacking in features (few lighting options, no bluetooth speaker, no ability to lock the wheel) it has what it needs in performance and range. Turning off tilt-back and audible alarms is just plain stupid because this wheel will easily hit 30mph. Full body armor and full-face helmet are required when riding this wheel. The only negative for me is the horribly designed trolley handle.
