“Speaking of KS18L, this wheel is well-built and a power monster!
With the exception of the 1st generation trolley handles that broke out-of-the-box, I received the 2nd generation replacement swiftly from Jason. ewheels is offering now the more improved 3rd generation trolley handles which should be even sturdier. The iPhone App is OK for parameters settings and managing all restrictions/alarms. Registering your login with KS however is flawed at best and their support in China made me temporarily use their support person's login to get few things moving. Nowadays, I mostly use DarknessBot app.
For my experience as a 1st timer EUC rider (I am a 50+ years old and 220 lb btw), this wheel provided confidence and power and now approaching 500 miles on it. I have no problem climbing up a 25% grade hilltop and reaching the max speed of 32miles/h (50KM/h) on flat roads consistently every ride. I even tried it in dirt trails (note: the wheel won't perform as well on deep or very large gravel). I even tried the wheel on rough (probably too rough) terrain made for mountain bikes. It was up to the task but very taxing on the rider!
On charging, it is worth getting the smart charger from ewheels to speed the process up and to manage the battery life (a function I think should be built-into EUCs or their chargers)
