“I intentionally waited two months before writing this review. This is a very well-built, and fun scooter. I love almost everything about it except for one flaw imo which is why I’m giving it four stars. The battery life is not what I expected.
If you ride in 3rd gear periodically going above 20 miles an hour and sometimes going over light hills, expect to only get 15 miles per charge. If you ride hard with decent hills expect to get a few miles less. Most of the time this is not an issue and for most people it probably won’t be. If you want to venture out for a day of cruising bring your charger. I have also noticed the speed decreases noticeably at around 80% charge or so. If you want more range and a little more speed go with the model right above this one.
Overall it’s a fantastic scooter with good suspension and speed.”
“Customer for life. As an engineer I am truly impressed with Jason and eWheels not only for the product, but support is bar none. Had an issue with throttle and they redesigned the mechanism to move trigger from index finger to thumb, big improvement. Longevity of throttle mechanism greatly increased. Thank you”
“Love this ride. Definitely the perfect price for me. I am actually planning on evolving to an EUC in the near future so this was not gonna blow a whole in my pocket. Having 3 modes of speed is great, you can set your own limits. I find it easy to ride over bumps and debris. The brakes seem good to me, I stop however and whenever I want. Replacing the air tube is pretty easy. Love the foldability, but it is still pretty heavy and unstable to drag around. That is a minor issue. LED lights are rad, luckily I like red and blue. Overall I reccomend this scooter for those who want something a little more serious and don't have to travel extensive distances. I live in washington DC and it is just right for the conditions here.”
“Great scooter for commuters. Not to heavy. The build quality is very good, suspension feels great (I'm 190lb), lights are brigt and the speed is more than enough for commuting. The trolley wheels in the package is a great addition.”
“By far the best scooter I have tried, the Turbowheel Dart is powerful, fast, and well-constructed. I tried two other scooters, which I subsequently returned, from different manufacturers. They worked ok on flat surface but struggled too hard to climb slope. The Dart, on the other hand, handled incline with ease. It’s very fast and accelerates instantaneously. There’s certainly even more powerful model out there but the Dart is plenty good enough for most people. This scooter has made my daily commute to work much easier.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase. However if they could improve in thing then I’d be extremely pleased. If they could make it waterproof that’d be super awesome!!”
