“Ri-dic-u-lous! I had a Mercane Widewheel prior to this unit and I thought it was rather quick (unlocked for 25mph). No. The Lightning+ will certainly get your attention--the torque is awesome. As for top speed (40+), it's certainly true. That being said, a spirited ride in the 22mph-28mph range is plenty to get the adrenaline running. Past 30mph, it's insane. Even though I have the power readily available, I don't foresee hitting 40mph very often. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
